Came for the all-you-can-eat eggs buffet. Arrived slightly before 12PM and was seated immediately, and a queue started forming soon after as the restaurant is popular among tourists and locals too.

The buffet costs 1,200Yen and you get all the eggs you can eat, 1 rice, 1 miso soup, 1 side dish. For 400 Yen more, you can get free flow rice on top of the buffet but I personally think an average person can go with the 1,200Yen buffet + top up 110 Yen for 1 additional rice if you need! The eggs were super interesting - taste wise I can only taste the distinct Yuzu taste but colour and consistency wise, you can definitely see a difference.

While the meal was great, I wish the staff could prepare an instruction as to how to enjoy the meal the Japanese way. I did the way others did on the review, mixing 3-4 eggs in the rice. As I was finishing my meal, I saw a Japanese couple next to me moving the rice to the smaller bowl and have it with 1 egg type and repeats with a different egg type.
Tip: you can also remove some egg whites so you get to try more eggs without your rice being “flooded” with eggs!

Perfect place for fans of TKG. They have a rotation of different eggs to try that all have slight differences in flavor, color, or texture. If you only try one I would recommend the Yuzu Egg. It actually has a faint smell and taste of Yuzu! The Rice Egg was also fun as it had a white yolk. They have an all you can eat option so you can try to sample them all.

Came to try the famous raw eggs from different farms. Came on a weekday around 11+ and there was no queue.

I got the unlimited eggs + rice. The good thing about this (as compared with unlimited eggs only with extra rice) is that my rice was steaming hot when refilled, helping to cook the egg a little when mixing, enhancing flavour of the tamago kake gohan.   It doesn’t taste as good when the rice is no longer as hot.

I also ordered chicken sashimi to try. While I enjoyed it, it probably took up a fair bit of my stomach capacity, reducing the amt of eggs I could try. If I could do this again I would skip the chicken to focus on the eggs.

High quality chicken and egg! I recommend getting oyako don, it was not flavored complicatedly but you could taste the natural high quality of the ingredients.

Everyone here is recommending the rice fed egg, which has a white yolk. I couldn't taste much difference of the egg, but it was interesting and delicious TKG.

Found this spot from instagram thinking it will be another tourist trap. It blew me out of the water with the different flavors of the eggs. I opted for the all you can eat option and ate 5 bowls of rice. Personal favorite is the yuzu egg which has a decent flavor or yuzu in it.

Highly recommend for anyone who wanna try something unique!
