World-class stadium impeccable in every aspect organized and knowledgeable staff, concession stands were fast and serving delicious food, the beer girls were awesome we ordered a beer from them occasionally and it allowed us to stay in our seats. The crowd has a different custom it is less rowdy crowd but I really enjoyed it allows you to hear more of the sound of live baseball. Nothing like hearing Sasaki's 100 mph heaters smashing into Smith's glove. The seats are small in the outfield so be prepared. They also have great lockers in the stadium amazing to store all your souvenirs and gear. Definitely coming back soon as I can.

Excellent! Watched the Cubbies play the Japanese tigers. Great ballpark. Easy to train to. Great food options from hot dogs to sushi and curry!second time there and always special. Clean, quick in and out. Great vendors. Lots of bathrooms. Very kid friendly. Our 6mo old &2&1/2 yr old granddaughters did great! Will do again. Carnival around looked fun to do after outside the stadium. Take your family
family and go.  Tokyo series is super expensive though, but as out of town cubs fans such as special experience 💙🧢

Hey dude, let me tell you—I’m a huge baseball fan. Tokyo Dome? That’s the sixth stadium I’ve visited in Japan. This time, I caught the Opening Series: Yomiuri Giants vs. Chiba Lotte Marines, March 21-23, 2025.

As you probably know, Tokyo Dome is home to the Giants. Opened in 1988, it seats 45,600 fans. Right outside the entrance, security does a bag check and scans your QR code before letting you in.

Now, here’s something crazy—no cash allowed! Not even at vending machines. Every coin slot? Blocked. Believe me, inside Tokyo Dome, credit cards rule. So if you’re a foreigner like me, bring an international credit card if you want to grab food or drinks.

Before the game, at the Friday 6 PM match, the crowd stood up and sang the national anthem—pretty powerful moment. And when the Giants scored? The entire stadium turned into a sea of swirling orange towels. Absolutely electric.

Oh, and if you’re looking for merch, there’s a store inside the dome, plus a few more outside, including a pop-up shop for the visiting team.

Baseball in Japan? Man, it’s an experience you won’t forget. Enjoy!

Saw the Giants play the Swallows here. Brilliant fun even as a tourist with no baseball experience! The atmosphere was fantastic, and the fans really know how to put on a show for their teams. The food around the stadium was delicious and reasonably priced. Worth a visit if you’re in Tokyo!
