SUPER quality hotel, well located!

Just adjacent to the Tokyo Dome sports Arena and to the amusement park, this hotel is perfect for a family stay.

Even though the rooms seem to have a design issue by which adequate useable space is a problem, the hotel management has smartly overcome that and all amenities including a table & chair are placed in a convenient way.

The views from the rooms are awesome, especially the upper floors(we stayed on the 31st floor overlooking the dome) and it is a WOW!

The bathroom amenities are aplenty, the linen & towels of very good quality and the in-room amenities like drip coffee is excellent!

Lifts are amazingly fast. The personnel are very helpful. Lawson convenience store is on the 2nd floor of the annexe building which can be accessed directly from the hotel. Enough dining options are available too outside the Dome.

Overall, a lovely stay that is expected from a quality hotel.

Pros - Great location, beautiful view of the Tokyo Dome, beautiful lobby, clean spacious rooms, ice machine, Lawsons on the 2nd floor, walking distance from Suidobasi station, and restaurants.

Cons - The WiFi really sucks. If I had known how terrible the WiFi was, I would not have stayed here. There are only 5 washing machines on the 7th floor. There are a lot of events at the Tokyo Dome which can get crowded and loud during the afternoons. A lot of tourists stay here. The toilet and shower are not in separate rooms. The sink area has carpet which is kinda weird, but not a big deal. The bed was comfortable, but the pillows were flat.

If the WiFi didn't suck so much, I could have ignored the cons. It's a shame because it was a beautiful hotel. Also check in was 2:00. We arrived around 2:30 and they were still cleaning our rooms. Tokyo Dome was the "cheapest" compared to the hotels we were looking at, but we still spent a lot of money to stay here. When we complained about the WiFi, someone at the front desk mentioned that there are a lot of people and that we could go to a net cafe.

Our stay at the Tokyo Dome Hotel was nothing short of exceptional! We booked an Executive Room, and it was absolutely worth it. From the moment we arrived, the service was top-notch—the staff was incredibly attentive, polite, and always eager to help.

One of the highlights was the Executive Lounge, which provided a relaxing atmosphere with great food, drinks, and a stunning view of the city. The attention to detail in the lounge made it a perfect place to unwind after a long day of exploring Tokyo.

A special touch that truly made our stay memorable was the free voucher they gave us for the Big O Ferris Wheel—such a thoughtful gesture that added to the overall experience. And speaking of views, the panoramic cityscape from our room was breathtaking. Watching Tokyo light up at night from our window was a moment to remember.

The hotel’s location is fantastic, especially for baseball fans or those visiting Tokyo Dome City. With easy access to public transport, restaurants, and entertainment, it’s a perfect spot for both leisure and business travelers.

Overall, Tokyo Dome Hotel exceeded our expectations, and we would highly recommend it to anyone looking for luxury, comfort, and outstanding service in the heart of Tokyo! Would definitely stay here again.

Tokyo Dome Hotel: A 4 star building with 3-star service

The hotel is physically large and in a great location—very close to the metro and surrounded by entertainment and shopping options. Room cleanliness is excellent, and the heating/cooling system works perfectly. Also, having a 24-hour convenience store inside the hotel is a big plus.

However, the hotel severely lacks a customer-focused approach. In the evenings, there’s nowhere comfortable to sit, work, or even make a phone call. There are plenty of empty tables and chairs in the lobby area, yet the hotel blocks off these spaces. What’s left are just a few uncomfortable chairs. One staff member even warned guests who were sitting a bit more comfortably, saying, “This is not a place to sleep.” Honestly, this isn’t a military camp—it’s a hotel. Guests come from different time zones, and some of us need to work at night.

The biggest disappointment was breakfast. There’s no clear theme, no variety, and honestly, no effort. Even basic items like cheese are missing. I came to Japan expecting to enjoy local cuisine, but even that was poorly represented. Because of this underwhelming breakfast experience, we chose not to try the hotel’s restaurants either.

In short, while the hotel’s infrastructure looks 5-star, the service quality barely deserves 3 stars. With just a few thoughtful changes and more respect for guest needs, this place could be amazing. But in its current state, I can’t really recommend it.

Tokyo Dome Hotel is a good place to stay and I would recommend that anyone visiting the city considers it. It is in an excellent location, next to the Tokyo Dome itself (obviously), some shops, a funfair and a railway station. The hotel is very clean and tidy and the rooms are bigger than I expected. The staff are very professional and friendly but for international travellers, be aware that very little English is spoken in the hotel. To be clear, I am not saying everyone in Japan should learn English, of course not, but when I compare it with similar hotels in China, the level of English is low. I didn't use any of the hotel's facilities as I was always out, but there are plenty of places to eat inside the hotel that are worth investigating. The rooms all have good views of the city with big windows, which is another positive. I found the hotel to be quite good value and I would definitely stay there again. While the decoration, especially the bathrooms are a bit dated, everything is good quality. There are two negatives, depending on your perspective. The mattresses are quite firm. I slept well so this didn't bother me personally, but I could imagine them being too firm for some people. Also, the hotel uses the cheapest, lowest-quality toilet paper I have ever seen. Obviously not a huge issue, but it is so strange considering how nice everything else is. Overall, I would happily stay there again and recommend it to others.
