The Kyubey course (16 pieces of nigiri) was made to perfection.  Delicious, high quality ingredients, prepared to be eaten as is.  Definitely an experience you don’t want to miss.

Back to sushi! A friend recommended this gem, Ginza Kyubey, but be prepared to make a phone call for a reservation as they don't do online bookings. They offer Omakase style sushi with various price ranges to choose from. Honestly, sushi in Japan is always delicious, and this place is no exception. The chef, although seasoned (let's just say experienced!), can speak a bit of English for those who don't speak Japanese. Definitely worth a try! 🍣

Had a great experience here. I was lucky enough to get a spot walking in. Recommend honing your Japanese language a little before visiting. You get a counter seat with a full spectacle of the sushi chef preparing your meal. My chef was very hospitable and prepared a delectable selection of sushi. If you are lucky, you even get to take a photo with the team. Walked out a happy camper. Will definitely be back soon.

This is one of the best omakase we have had in Japan 🥹

The food quality and quantity was just right and the staff are very nice and helpful. Unfortunately it was my mother’s birthday so I tried to request for a simple celebration but they weren’t able to.
