Be prepared to wait, but the wait is worth it if you are a serious coffee lover. We have heard many good things about Glitch so we were very excited to try it out. Waited for about 40mins (we arrived about 10mins before opening time). Turnover was rather quick since the sitting area was small.

Staff will explain everything, and give recommendations to you and you get to take your time choosing your beans. They recommend the filter coffee but they also have latte as well. Everything is single origin, all with unique flavour profiles. They have 3 ranges so we tried 1 from each. Since we were here already, might as well splash out and try the Geisha beans. The Geisha coffee definitely stands out it terms of complexity and flavour profile. It smells exactly like it was described - strong sugary smell, astringent lemon tea mouthfeel. We also got the ‘cheaper’ Colombia San Rafael which I really like because of its melon flavour! We also got the one with butter-flavour profiles (forgot which beans it was) and it was soooo good. Do savour every sip and let it cool down to get the most of it. It is definitely one of the most impressive coffee experience I’ve had, and I am not even a coffee nerd 🤣 price is definitely premium but I think it’s worth trying if you love and appreciate a good cup of coffee.

Definitely one of the best cafes in Japan! Wide selection of beans to choose from, and if you’re unsure which beans to go for, the staff will happily assist you.

Though I would highly recommend going there early or allow plenty of time because there might be a queue. I’ve waited about 20min but some of my friends have waited more than 30min. Price wise is on the higher side, but coffee is very high quality and tasty.

Meh.

They make good coffee, but nothing beyond what you can buy in any major city coffee hub and they charge twice the price. I suspect a lot of the folks who go wild for this place either aren’t from big cities, don’t seek out what specialty shops are around them in their hometown, or are very influenced by ambiance and presentation (the baristas all wear suits, you’re given the impression they’re holding your hand though the process but in reality it’s kind of rushed, the decor is cute, etc.)

I ordered one latte and one pour over. The latte was good, but the shot extraction was average and I felt didn’t get the best out of the beans. I felt the crema was lacking. The milk texture was okay but it was over-aerated and more like a cappuccino. Way too much foam.

The pour over was fine. Again, no major complaints but a bit thin tasting and nothing remarkable when compared to other specialty pour overs I’ve had in various other large cities.

They have an impressive selection of beans but nothing out of the ordinary for high-quality specialty shops.

The wait is also a bit silly. We arrived just after open on a rainy weekday morning and stood in line for over an hour. I can’t imagine what it would be like during peak times or summer season.

To sum it up, if you’re from a small town or region that doesn’t have access to specialty coffee, you can give this place a try. But the coffee quality is not at all proportionate to the exorbitant price (!) or excessive wait times, and I would instead find other, less hyped but as good or better coffee shops in Tokyo.

Friendly staff who patiently assist you with coffee choices. Regardless of your experience level with coffee, it's an amazing place to visit for those who like drinking coffee. Just keep in mind the wait time could be up to an hour, if not more.

The best coffee experience I ever have. There were lines before they open. Waited around 20mins. The quality of coffee and the variety of available beans are top-notch. Regardless of how expensive their coffee can be, it’s so worth it. It’s one of my most memorable experiences of my tokyo trip! Thank you!🥹🖤🖤
