A very special place to stay for an authentic experience in Japan. A cozy home away from home with hotel amenities and the sweetest owners who will help drive you to and from the station. Yuki  the assistant is so sweet and helpful considerate and the sweet dog i already miss him. Beds so comfy , of all my stays in Japan .. beautiful garden views…Loved the calm neighborhood with all you need in a quick walk…. Highly recommended

My favorite memory of our Japan trip was staying at this lovely place. The property has been maintained for generations and offers travelers a glimpse into Japanese culture by staying in a traditional family home, enjoying the peaceful garden, and sharing conversations over a home-cooked breakfast. They have a friendly dog, K-chan, who we enjoyed playing with every morning.

The host picked us up very early in the morning and even late at night when we were tired. If time permits, I recommend eating in the neighborhood and taking a 15-minute walk to explore the residential area, where you can experience everyday life away from the hustle and bustle of Tokyo. There are express trains into the city center, so getting around was no problem.

As others have described, it feels more like visiting your grandparents’ home than staying in a hotel.

This is the best place I have in Japan, everything is amazing! The hotel owner is a couple like grandma and grandpa, they are soooo friendly lovely so cute!
They picked us up in the station nearby and gave us so many good suggestion! Their English is so good, the best one in Japan ! ❤️
The garden is so graceful and beautiful which is definitely very difficult to find in Tokyo, I am so glad i chose to stay here because my family all loves here so so so much!❤️
The hotel owner grandma cooked very delicious breakfast for us and all if us enjoyed quite a lot!
I will definitely come back for this place and for them❤️

This is an incredibly special and unique guesthouse experience in Tokyo’s Akabane neighborhood, a largely residential area with quick and easy train access to central Tokyo. The property (garden, building, and rooms) is beautiful and much attention was given to our comfort. The proprietors are a retired, well-traveled couple who exemplify “omotenashi”, the Japanese ideal of hospitality. The nearly unanimous perfect reviews on Google and Booking are there for a reason! The breakfast was a highlight. We particularly enjoyed marmalade from the property’s orange tree. In the best possible way, it is like visiting your grandparents.

The most fantastic place where to spend some days in Tokyo! Great facilities, super breakfast but first of all number one hosts! They welcomed us with a warm smile and made us feel “at home”. They offered us a unique friendly, relaxing and easy going atmosphere. They offered us and the other guests an “Italian kitchen” (I am Italian) where we all gathered for breakfast and interacted with one another and with the hosts. We were so lucky to spend our first days in Japan in this beautiful but real place, welcomed by super hosts where we met nice tourists as well! Many many thanks to our hosts!
