門前仲町 『 渡辺料理店 』

幸運なことに二ヶ月連続してシェフとマダムにお会い出来た。

シャルキュトリーの盛り合わせは伺う度に毎回頂いているが、全く食べ飽きることは無い。初めに白レバームース、ブーダンノワールを食した時の感動は未だ変わらず。濃厚かつ余韻は軽く、ネガティブな香りは一切しない。

鳩のローストも圧巻。
鳩特有の鉄を思わせる血の香り、その野趣味を絶妙なバランスでコントロールされている。酒が得意でない自分が思わず赤ワインと合わせたいと思わせるその濃厚さと魅力的な香り。

今回も素晴らしい料理の数々。

何とか年内もう一度伺いたいところだが、念願成就なるか。

Monzennakacho “Watanabe Restaurant”

I was lucky enough to meet the chef and madam two months in a row.

I get the charcuterie platter every time I visit, and I never get tired of eating it. The excitement I felt when I first tried the white liver mousse and boudin noir remains the same. It's rich and has a light aftertaste, with no negative aromas at all.

The roasted pigeon is also amazing.
The scent of blood reminiscent of iron unique to pigeons, and its wild taste are controlled with exquisite balance. Its richness and attractive aroma make me want to pair it with red wine, even though I'm not a big drinker.

Many wonderful dishes this time.

I would like to visit him again sometime this year, but I wonder if my wish will come true.

東京・門前仲町に佇む「渡辺料理店」。落ち着いた街並みに溶け込む隠れ家のような雰囲気で、訪れた人々を洗練された料理の世界へ誘う。今回のディナーは、料理とワインが奏でる贅沢なハーモニーを存分に堪能した。

お料理は、前菜からメイン、デザートまでどれも完成度が高い。最初にいただいた盛り合わせには、白レバームース、ブーダンノワール、ポークロースハム、パテカンパーニュの4種類が揃い、それぞれが異なる食感と風味でスタートを彩る。

「真タラ白子ムニエル木ノ子ソース」は、白子のクリーミーな旨味と木ノ子の香りが絶妙な調和を見せ、「メヒカリフリット柿＆根菜マリネ」は、軽やかなフリットとマリネの酸味が絶妙なアクセントとなった。「北海道ウニズワイガニ金美人参ムース」は、滑らかなムースが素材の甘さを引き立て、一口ごとに感動が広がる一品。

メイン料理も圧巻。「フランス仔牛リドヴォー胸腺肉」は、柔らかさと濃厚なコクが印象的で、「英国ドーバーチュルボ平目ロースト」は、外は香ばしく、中はふっくらとしたロースト加減が見事。「オマール海老ビスクリゾット」は、濃厚なビスクがリゾットにしっかり染み込み、海老の風味を存分に楽しめる。

ワインペアリングも非の打ち所がない。「パイパー・エドシックブリュット」のシャンパンで乾杯し、続く「ブルゴーニュ・シャルドネ モンジャール・ミュヌレ」の白ワインは魚介料理を引き立てるエレガントな味わい。「シャトー・ラグランジュ 2018」の赤ワインは、メインディッシュのリッチな味をさらに引き上げ、料理とワインの相乗効果を実感できた。

最後のデザートは見た目も美しく、甘さ控えめで洗練された味わい。エスプレッソとともに、締めくくりにふさわしいひとときだった。

All the dishes, from appetizers to main dishes to desserts, are of a high standard. The first platter we received included four types: white liver mousse, boudin noir, pork loin ham, and pâté campagne, each with a different texture and flavor to complement the start.

``Matara Milt Meuniere Kinoko Sauce'' has an exquisite harmony between the creamy flavor of Milt and the aroma of Kinoko, while ``Mexicali Fritto Persimmon & Marinated Root Vegetables'' has a light frit and the sourness of the marinade as an exquisite accent. . ``Hokkaido Sea Urchin Snow Crab Golden Carrot Mousse'' is a dish whose smooth mousse brings out the sweetness of the ingredients and leaves you impressed with every bite.

The main dishes are also amazing. The ``French calf Ridvaux breast meat'' is impressively soft and rich, and the ``British Dover Churbo solemeat roast'' is perfectly roasted, with a fragrant outside and plump inside. In the lobster bisque risotto, the rich bisque soaks into the risotto, allowing you to fully enjoy the flavor of the shrimp.

The wine pairing is also impeccable. A toast with ``Piper-Heidsieck Brut'' champagne followed by ``Burgundy Chardonnay Mongeard Mueneret'' white wine with an elegant flavor that complements the seafood dishes. The red wine from Chateau Lagrange 2018 further enhanced the rich flavor of the main dish, allowing us to experience the synergistic effect of the food and wine.

The final dessert was beautiful to look at, with a subtle sweetness and sophisticated taste. It was a perfect way to end the meal with an espresso.

At Watanabe Restaurant, the food, wine, customer service, and space are all top-notch. It's a special restaurant that you'll want to visit not only for dinner on special occasions, but also when you want to forget about everyday life.

【料理人さんが通う人気のビストロ店】

場所は門前仲町。4人で会食予定だったのだが、約束の時間よりだいぶ早めに着いてしまい店の周辺をウロウロ。そうして店の外観写真を撮っていたら、お店の方から声をかけていただき、早めに入店し着席。何もしないで待つより一杯先に飲もうと「小瓶のサッポロ黒ラベル（税込800円）」をゴクリ。

15分後にみんな集まって来た。この店の渡邉シェフ（店の名前は「渡辺」の漢字だけど…）はレカン出身で腕は確か。以前から人気でなかなか予約が取れない店で有名になっていた。カウンター席にはよく料理人さんが座って見ている事も多いと言う。
今回は友人が持っている予約に混ぜてもらった。感謝。

コースで8500円と、かなりリーズナブル。ただ、今回は4人だったので、ひと皿がちょうど4人だと適量だという事で、自分たちの食べたいアラカルトにしようと決定。ただ、…そうなるとメニュー決めはそれぞれの主張もあり、喧々諤々。でも、それはそれで楽しいよね。

結局、予約を持っていた方は何回か来ている常連なので、その方の意見を尊重しつつ、下記の感じのメニューで決定。
「ミックスリーフ グリーンサラダ（税込1200円）」…レタス、ブロッコリー、紫玉ねぎ、その他、葉物野菜。

「ブーダンノワール（税込1600円）」…おっ、このブーダンノワール、かなり濃厚でまろやかで美味。苦手じゃなければ食べるべき一品。

「メヒカリフリットレーズンアーモンド（税込2000円）」…最近は高級魚になってしまったメヒカリをフリットし、アーモンド粉をかけた一品。脂も乗ってなかなか、珍味。

「フランスムール貝ウイキョウソース、ライム（税込3000円）」…本当はムール貝はベルギー風の白ワインにバター、セロリ、ニンニクを入れて蓋をした蒸し焼きが好きなのだが、今回のウイキョウソースはサワークリームソースタイプ。

「自分（税込5500円）」…ソースは濃厚。じっくり煮込まれたことを想像させる柔らかなお肉で美味しい。添えられているのは北海道の熟成ジャガイモのメイクリーン。…これがまた甘い。

店としては、今回のメインのオススメはこれだった…
「島根イノシシ背肉ロースト（税込12000円）」…焼きたての脂が美味しい。少し時間が経ってしまったら、美味しく食べるためにシェフが再度焼き直してくれるサービスもしてくださる。こう言う対応が人気になるんだな。お肉も旨味たっぷり。イノシシも料理次第でここまで美味しくなる、のが分かる。

「オマール海老ビスクリゾット（税込5400円）」…海老味噌をソースに使う。そこまて強い出汁は感じないが、リゾットとして普通に美味しい。

「ババ・オ・ラム（税込1600円）」…自分でラムをかけて仕上げる。しばらくしてさらに追いラム…ちょっと酔うくらい…そしてこのじっくりラムの染み込んだ生地はそのまま食べても、アイスクリームと一緒に食べても美味しい。

最後にコーヒーをいただき、終了。
飲んで食べて15000円。
最近の人気店価格の中では、リーズナブルで使いやすいのも支持される理由なんだろうな。

次の予約は早くても来年の10月だそう。ほんと大人気なんだなぁ。
姉妹店が来春の桜の咲く頃にはすぐそばに出来る予定もあるらしく、そこもすぐに人気になりそう。

東京のレストラン事情は動きが激しい。追いつくのが大変。

The location is Monzennakacho. The four of us were scheduled to have a dinner together, but we arrived much earlier than the scheduled time and ended up wandering around the restaurant. As I was taking pictures of the exterior of the store, a staff member approached me and I entered the store early and was seated. I gulped down a small bottle of Sapporo Black Label (800 yen including tax), thinking I'd have a drink first instead of waiting around.

15 minutes later everyone gathered. The chef of this restaurant, Watanabe (the name of the restaurant is the kanji for "Watanabe", but...), is from Lecan and is definitely skilled. It has long been famous as a popular restaurant that is difficult to get reservations for. It is said that the chefs are often seated at the counter and watching.
This time, I had it mixed in with a friend's reservation. Thank you.

The course costs 8,500 yen, which is quite reasonable. However, since there were 4 of us this time, we decided to go with the a la carte menu as one plate was just the right amount for 4 people. However...in that case, each person had their own opinion on the menu, and there was a lot of arguing. But it's still fun.

In the end, the person who had made the reservation was a regular who had come several times, so while respecting their opinion, we decided on the following menu.
"Mixed Leaf Green Salad (1200 yen including tax)"...Lettuce, broccoli, purple onion, and other leafy vegetables.

"Boudin Noir (1,600 yen including tax)"...Oh, this Boudin Noir is quite rich, mellow, and delicious. A must-try dish if you don't like it.

``Mexicali Fritto Raisin Almond (2,000 yen including tax)''...A dish made with Mexicali, which has become a luxury fish these days, fried and sprinkled with almond flour. It has a lot of fat and is quite a delicacy.

"French mussels with fennel sauce, lime (3,000 yen including tax)"...I actually like mussels steamed in Belgian-style white wine with butter, celery, and garlic, covered with a lid, but the fennel sauce this time was a sour cream sauce type.

"Myself (5,500 yen including tax)"...The sauce is rich. The meat is soft and delicious, making you imagine it has been slowly stewed. Accompanied by Hokkaido aged potatoes, May Clean. ...This is also sweet.

As for the store, this was the main recommendation this time...
“Roasted Shimane Boar Back Meat (12,000 yen including tax)”…The freshly grilled fat is delicious. If it's been a while, the chef will even reheat it to make it even more delicious. This approach is becoming popular. The meat is also full of flavor. I can see how wild boar can become so delicious depending on how you cook it.

``Omar shrimp bis risotto (5,400 yen including tax)'' uses shrimp miso for the sauce. Although it doesn't taste like a particularly strong soup stock, it's just as delicious as a risotto.

"Baba au Rum (1,600 yen including tax)"... Finish with your own rum. After a while, I add more rum...it's almost intoxicating...The dough soaked in rum is delicious as is or with ice cream.

Finally, we had some coffee and finished.
Drink and eat 15,000 yen.
Among the prices at popular stores these days, it's reasonable and easy to use, which is probably why it's so popular.

The next reservation will be in October of next year at the earliest. It's really popular.
Apparently there are plans to open a sister store nearby when the cherry blossoms bloom next spring, so it's likely to become popular soon.

The restaurant scene in Tokyo is rapidly changing. It's hard to catch up.

丁寧に作られたお料理は全て美味しく美しかったです❤️これだけのお料理がこのお値段なのは貴重だと思います。シェフはしっかりお料理を勉強してきた方だと思わされます(素人が失礼します🙏) 残念なのは予約が取れないことだけ🥲
帰り際にサービスしてくださったのが奥様と知りました。ご夫婦の思いが具現化された素晴らしいお店でした。ありがとうございました😊
