Leaving Japan with an unforgettable sushi experience—this was truly something special.
Even though I’m not usually a fan of seafood and couldn’t convince myself to like sushi in my four years in Tokyo, this meal was exceptional.
Make sure to book well in advance, as you’ll be dining with only 10 others while the chef crafts each dish one by one right in front of you, explaining each piece along the way.
The taste, atmosphere, and vibe were all incredible, with a level of freshness that stood out. It was definitely brutally expensive, but worth every bite.
The last taste of Tokyo will stay with me forever!

This was our one "treat yourself" omakase sushi meal that we reserved in advance of our trip, and we were not disappointed. Each piece of fish was of high quality and a generous portion. We opted for the sake pairing, and had the pleasure of trying many types of sake that we normally would not have. Additionally, the service was unmatched - the staff were attentive throughout our entire meal, and our drinks were never close to empty. We loved our time at Udatsu and highly recommend to others looking for a memorable omakase experience!

We loved our experience here. I am vegan and my boyfriend is mostly vegetarian. They allowed him to have a vegetarian Omakase but try a few tuna pieces at his request, and they happily accepted this request which we were so grateful for. The staff was extremely professional and it was a beautiful intimate setting. The food was beautifully prepared and full of flavor. Thank you for having us!

To get this quality at this price in the middle of Tokyo is a gem. The food is definitely Michelin star quality, the service is attentive and there is someone who will speak English to help with the language barrier.
We went upstairs as there was 5 of us and kids had the adult menu. The pram was left near the wall in a nook area and there were no kids high chair. The toilets are very classy and it shows in their use of hand wash. Suffice to say we were stuffed as I had to eat what the kids didn’t eat from the adult portions. The menu changes according to season and sushi is actually prepared in front of you.

This was hands down the most amazing sushi experience of my life. Chef udatsu was very friendly and interactive. They were happy to answer any questions or requests we had. They all spoke English very well so there is no language barrier. This was so much more than I meal. It was the most artistic and best sensory overload you could ever imagine. Book this well in advance. It is worth it!!
