I think there is a difference in quality between sushi Sano and other shops in a similar price range, the lunch course is especially reasonable.

You can tell the chef has high attention to detail not just by the beautiful presentation but the interior design, the spotlights on the counter made each piece look great.

The lady taking care of the drinks and assisting the chef was Verry observant and attentive👍

It's shocking that there was a seat free next to me while dining, I recommend visiting before it gets too popular.

The chef was also very friendly and was chatting casually with the guests, the atmosphere is good.

A great place to enjoy sushi. Good vibes, atmosphere, service and clientele. The proprietress speaks good English. Very friendly to foreigners, highly recommend this sushiya to sushi lovers and beginners to sushi omakase.

Nigiri is quite large, with strong vinegary taste, firm rice grains and warm shari temperature. Tuna is supplied by the Fujita san. Managatsuo, otoro, chutoro, ikura, tairagai and kuruma ebi were memorable.

Had an enjoyable experience. Will definitely visit again.

Intimate omakase experience run by a couple. We really enjoyed the food and sharing conversation (through Google translate because this is a very local spot) with the owners and guests. The fish was fresh and thoughtfully prepared. A truly unforgettable meal.

By far the best sushi we had in our lives! Both the sushi chef and his wife were super friendly and the service was good as well. A great experience that we will always remember.

Fantastic sushi that exceeded all my expectations. The unique preparation of the hotate was so mind-blowingly good that I ordered a second. Unlike many other places which serve it too crisp, here, a large specimen is scored such that it envelops your mouth in an almost-creamy texture when it hits your tongue. The botan ebi was similarly sweet and creamy. And the katsuo was a thing of visual beauty.

It’s great value given the rising sushi prices to be found in Tokyo, and additional orders were priced reasonably too. The chef was also nice and friendly to someone like me who only spoke a smattering of Japanese. Finally, I love the attention to details like the spotlights on the counter that make it great for photos. I’m returning to this place for sure.
