食べログブロンズ、百名店、ミシュラン常連の実力派上海料理。南シェフの素晴らしい料理が堪能できるお店です。

こちらは6年以上前に訪問して下書きのままにしていた南青山の中華料理の名店「ミモザ」。

シェフの南俊郎氏は新宿の中華の名店「シェフス」で6年半修行、当時「シェフス」にいた西岡英俊氏の元で研鑽を積んでいます。その後32歳で独立してオープンしたのがこちらの「ミモザ」というわけです。

6年半前に訪問した時にはまだオープンして1年経たない頃でしたが、その後食べログではブロンズアワードの常連となり、中国料理百名店にも何度も選出されています。

ミシュラン2018に初めて一つ星で選出され、2022まで5年連続受賞されていました。

当時はアラカルトでの注文ができたので、好きな料理をオーダー。

春巻きに焼売、中国麩の肉詰めスープ、アスパラガスと筍の香麻炒め、卵とトマトの薫風炒め、あさりと雪菜の麺、そしてデザートには杏仁豆腐。

当時はミシュラン店ではありませんでしたが、とても美味しくリーズナブルで使いやすいお店、という認識でした。

その後ミシュランの星を獲得し続けることになり、惜しくも2023は星を逃してしまっていますが、またミシュラン店に返り咲く日も近いと思います。

当時はお酒を合わせて会計1万円を少し超える程度でした。

いまはコースで客単価3万円くらいになってメニューも変わっているので、改めてコースをいただきに訪問しに行きたいと思います。

A talented Shanghainese restaurant with Tabelog Bronze, 100 Famous Stores, and Michelin star regulars. This is a restaurant where you can enjoy Chef Minami's wonderful cuisine.

This is Mimosa, a famous Chinese restaurant in Minami Aoyama that I visited over six years ago and left as a draft.

Chef Toshiro Minami trained at Shinjuku's famous Chinese restaurant ``Chef's'' for six and a half years, studying under Mr. Hidetoshi Nishioka, who was at ``Chef's'' at the time. After that, at the age of 32, he opened his own restaurant called ``Mimosa''.

When I visited six and a half years ago, it had only been open for less than a year, but since then it has become a regular winner of bronze awards on Tabelog, and has been selected as one of the 100 Famous Chinese Restaurants many times.

It was awarded one star by Michelin for the first time in 2018, and had been awarded the award for five consecutive years until 2022.

At that time, you could order à la carte, so you could order your favorite dishes.

Spring rolls, shumai, Chinese meat stuffed soup, asparagus and bamboo shoots stir-fried, egg and tomato stir-fried, clams and snow greens noodles, and almond tofu for dessert.

At the time, it wasn't a Michelin-starred restaurant, but people thought it was a very delicious, reasonably priced, and easy-to-use restaurant.

Since then, we have continued to receive Michelin stars, and unfortunately we lost the star in 2023, but I think the day when we will be back as a Michelin restaurant is soon.

At that time, the total bill including alcohol was just over 10,000 yen.

Now, the cost per customer for a course is about 30,000 yen, and the menu has changed, so I would like to visit again to try the course.
