One of the ramen places currently trending in Tokyo. I ordered three of the restaurant’s signature dishes: Yuzu Shio Ramen, Yuzu-tsuyu Tsukemen, and Aburi Koro Chashu Gohan. Out of these three, the tsukemen was my favorite because the dipping sauce provided had a unique, yet rich and refreshing flavor—a combination of chicken broth, soy sauce, and yuzu. The ramen had a fairly standard taste, with a broth that carried a slight hint of yuzu flavor and aroma. As for the gohan, the chashu meat was very delicious, tender, and juicy. However, the grated radish, one of the toppings, somewhat diminished the savory taste of the meat, making the overall flavor a bit toned down. The dining space is quite small and limited, so the queue outside the restaurant can be quite long. Extra patience is needed to wait for your turn to get inside the restaurant.

I first discovered this restaurant 6 months ago, when I saw a gigantic line outside and became curious. I added it to my list and returned this August to find that there was no line and no wait 3:30pm on an extremely busy Sunday in Tokyo.

The menu has many options, but I tired their recommended yuzu ramen with pork, and my brother and I shared a portion of their pork fried rice.

What a delicious experience! This was one of the most unique bowls of ramen I’ve ever tasted. Slightly citrusy, not spicy, but very full of flavor. The pork was tender and had a really nice taste to it.

The fried rice really surprised us with how tasty it was! My brother liked the Yuzu beer as well.

Definitely check this place out if you’re considering visiting Tokyo and looking for a new twist on ramen!
