Escalator to the sky. Incredible spot, especially if you manage to get tickets for around sunset. The rooftop is pretty busy and there’s sometimes a line to get to certain desirable corners. You can pay to have your photo taken - but generally you’ll be able to find a spot by the window.

Downstairs, there’s seating, food and alcohol (must be booked and is extra cost). You can get a decent view here too.

Lockers provided and you can’t take anything bulky to the roof. If you take a camera, make sure it has a neck or shoulder strap otherwise you can’t bring it.

Great spot for a 360 city view. The line was moving relatively quickly and we were able to get on the top slightly after our scheduled time slot, so put another 15-20 mins for a queue if you planning to be on the top for day/night shift. The roof has a lot of space so you can distribute and pick a place for a foto. I noticed that if you wait 30 mins after you got on the top there will be less people and you can make iconic photos without waiting too much.

Shibuya Sky was such a cool experience! I visited with my girlfriends, and from the moment we stepped onto the observation deck, we were in awe. The 360-degree panoramic views of Tokyo were beautiful—seeing the city’s skyline stretch, with landmarks like the Tokyo Tower in the distance, felt incredible.

The open-air rooftop added an exhilarating touch; we visited around noon, and watching the city from below was a really interesting experience. The atmosphere was perfect for capturing incredible photos and just soaking in the moment.

The entire experience was seamless, from the smooth elevator ride up to the well-designed lounge areas where we could relax and take in the views. Shibuya Sky should be on everyone’s list—my only suggestion would be to go during sunset and book in advance!!!!!

Well worth the price for this pretty popular tourist attraction. You must book in advance as daily entry admission is set to a fixed amount. Best to come in the evening.

You can see 360 view of Tokyo from the rooftop. Better dress warmer as temperature is quite chill up here and the wind can get quite strong.

Selfie sticks are not permitted and there are free lockers to store personal belongings.

Visited Shibuya Sky on March 6th, 2024 and had an amazing time admiring the scenic and panoramic view of Shibuya. It was very chilly at that time, but the view was worth it.

If you’re looking to get great Instagram-worthy shots of Shibuya, look no further than Shibuya Sky. The tickets are relatively cheap and the views are first-class.

There are lockers for you to put your belongings however they require a 100-yen deposit (which you can get back after) so have some coins ready on hand.

The queue to enter the tower was short and we had tickets booked in advance via Klook so entry
was relatively fast. You will need to book tickets in advance if you’d like to visit Shibuya Sky.

There are allocated time slots for entry however none for exit, we stayed for about 3 hours and got to see the sunset. There are crowds however, so if crowds aren’t your thing, it would be better to choose a non-peak hour for entry.

In terms of food, there is a bar inside the tower serving alcoholic drinks as well as finger foods like fries and karaage. There is also a souvenir shop available if you’d like to buy some gifts or mementos.

Overall, I can confidently recommend anyone looking to visit Shibuya to also visit Shibuya Sky. The scenic view of Shibuya is perfect for any scenery lovers and will be sure to make a great memory for you and your loved ones.
