Chain sukiyaki and shabu shabu restaurant with multiple locations across Tokyo, including at least 3 locations in close vicinity with Shinjuku. This one is on the 7th floor of a building. Modern interior with wood and darker accents. Can probably sit a 50+ people. We were there for early-ish dinner, and had a reservation so no wait for us. When we were done people were waiting to get seats. We got the all you can eat sukiyaki. There are three tiers of prices, and the difference is what kind of meat you can order. We got the top tier for 5500 yen per person where you can get Japanese beef and pork and beef tongue. You ask the staff to bring more meat the table. As for vegetables, starches and other things to put into the pot, they are placed in a island in the center of restaurant for you to grab buffet style. Decent selection of veggies, noodles, fish balls. There is also self-serve water and tea, and also AYCE ice cream with 4 flavors. We are there for the meat, and the meat was really delicious. Coupled with the sweet sukiyaki broth, we ate plate after plate of meat. Absolutely stuffed ourselves. High quality meat for the top tier. Service was good. And for the amount of meat we downed, the price is quite reasonable.

After a night of going out in Shinjuku, we needed a delicious, comforting meal to ground us and fill our bellies. Craving hot pot, we were able to walk in to Nabezo Shinjuku Meijidori 30 min before their last call. They were kind enough to seat us and let us know we only had about ~30 min so we could orders as many rounds of meat as we wanted ti ensure we got our fill. The menu features all you can eat; with different levels in meat premium-bess. We opted for the most premium option and made sure to order enough to fill out entire table. When it comes to the other add one like veggies, noodles, rice, sauce, etc, you get it all from a large buffet line, which was actually nice because we could control the quantity of all these additional dishes. All the produce looked very fresh so I loaded up on those too. All the food we ate, from the meats to the produce tasted great. Granted we were eating quickly, there wasn't anything suspicious that stood out and we definitely finished feeling full and happy. Even though we only had ~30 min to eat, the staff was incredibly kind and attentive, making sure our plates were cleared and that we had enough on our table. The restaurant itself is pretty modern too with a large layout that can accommodate large groups.

We needed a place to celebrate my wife's birthday with 15. This place too reservations and was great. We had a slightly tough time finding it, but once we did we had a great time. It is a shabu shabu place that is all you can eat. It was packed on a Sunday night (also tough to find restaurant). Ambiance: fairly noisy for Japan. Lots of booth. Great for family. Service: fairly good throughout. Most spoke some English. They were fast to bring out the orders. Meat was brought out in increment of 4 trays. Pretty fast with drink refills. Food: there have tiers of their all you can eat. We opted for the top one which included wagyu slices of beef for approx $50. It was really tender. We also got the all you can drink which includes sake and beer. Great value for what we got. Would highly recommend for big party.

Food was probably 7.5-8 Service was probably 6 Ambiance 7.5-8 Not sure if this is a staffing issue or just personnel issue... we ordered the all you can drink along with dinner meal. Had to ask for the status of our drinks after 15+ minutes of not seeing it come out. Not everything was provided and we had to ask for the ladle for the soup. Our table were not given soy sauce & sesame sauce so we had to borrow from the other table that came in with us (same party but due to size was seated at a different table). The meat orders were quickly fulfilled when asked but the plates on our tables were not cleared even one time (empty meat plates were cleared). Our server did not come by to check on us but instead were needed to to flagged each time. Ambiance was fine, clean, good for family setting but probably not for a romantic dinner. Would probably not visiting this place again since it did not give us a wow factor.

After a long day trip, I returned back to Tokyo really hungry. I remember seeing signs around Shinjuku for ACYE Shabu Shabu. With some google search, I came across Nebazo ACYE. It seemed like a good deal, 2800 yen for ACYE. Some confusing things about Nebazo is that there's 4 locations in the Shinjuku area so it was tricky figuring out which one to go to. We visited most of them to figure out if the wait times were reasonable. Then, finally, we arrived to the one near the H&M which is on the 7th floor. This one wasn't as crazy compared to the other ones, so we were able to seated in about 30 minutes which is better than the other ones. Once we were seated, our waiter proceeded to explain everything on the menu to us. He has decent English and happily ready to help us. We just did the ACYE beef, pork, self serve vegetables for 2800 yen per person. Once our meat came out, our waitress demonstrated how to prepare the meat and showed us the different sauces - there was two sauces, a ponzu like sauce and a sesame milky colored sauce. I really like the self-serve vegetables, I got some tofu, cabbage, all different types of mushrooms. They even have self-serve sauces such as soy sauce, sesame oil, garlic, ginger, chili oil, etc. All the vegetables are fresh. There's also dumplings and noodles too. We enjoyed the dumplings that we got. I enjoyed all the different type of mushrooms. As for the meat, it was decent. We got the shabu shabu broth which is like a beef broth. The broth wasn't too strong but it was okay. One big positive of this restaurant is their amazing service. For a ACYE place, they were quick to clean up our plates once we finished our meats and asked us if we wanted another serving of meat. I was overly impressed with this. If this was an American establishment, I would give a large tip. I have never been to an ACYE restaurant that was so attentive. Great service and decent food! I would definitely recommend Nebazo for ACYE Shabu Shabu.

One of the top highlights of my Japan trip, and among my top two favorite Tokyo meals. The food quality was excellent. All of the meat was fresh and delicious. The veggie, noodle, and side options were plentiful. Friendly staff. Comfortable setting. Reasonably priced. Free ice cream. Look closely - the only place you'll see the name posted is in an alcove of a high-rise building.... Just take the elevator and you're there. Well worth it.
