They offer a reasonable corkage service - only costs 2,000 yen and they have Kimura Glass. You’ll know what it means if you tried to find out BYOB possible restaurants in Japan.
Furthermore, Sushi here was wonderful.
With 30+ years experience, the master is really skillful and friendly - I was the only non-speaking Japanese person, but he tried to have a communication with me and give enough information about sushi in English.
Highly recommend this place!

The restaurant is inconspicuous from the outside, a common theme in Japan. We arrived at noon and were presented with the sole menu option: omakase at ¥15000 per person. Furthermore, we ordered some hot sake and some plum wine on the rocks.

The service is excellent. The young apprentice is attentive and kind. The sushi master gave us information about the set course and made friendly banter, revealing to us that he has 30+ years of experience. Thus, we got excited for what turned out to be an excellent meal.

After a simple yet delicious salad, the nigiri were prepared with great craftsmanship. Mackerel, shrimp, squid, tuna and many more, all pieces were amazing. Firm, fresh fish and perfectly cooked rice. The fatty tuna in particular was delightful, one of the best things we tried during our stay in Japan. The course ended with a few pieces of maki, sweet omelette and miso soup, as usual.

Despite the language barrier, the master was friendly, gave us suggestions, asked us about our stay in Japan and was interested in the cuisine of our home country. Seems like a genuinely good person.

Probably the best omakase during this past  week’s visit  to Tokyo.

This place is a hidden gem in the Asakusa area. It’s about a 10 min walk from the Senso-Ji temple and definitely worth a visit.

I was super impressed by the freshness of each and every piece of sushi served. The red clam (akagai) was crunchy and sweet. Both the akami, chu-toro and toro all melted in my mouth. And Aji (paid extra) is my all time favorite and did not disappoint me.

Chef is skillful and has a good sense of humor. The place has good ambience.

Paid ¥14,000 for lunch and was worth every yen or penny!!!

Walked in with two friends just looking for some sushi, was pleasantly surprised it was an omakase. The chef was very welcoming, and he prepared the food with care. The sushi was phenomenal. Also, the service went above and beyond. A guest in my party dropped a piece on their white pants and the chef was so kind to gift her a pair of pants to change into. I will recommend this place to anybody visiting Japan. I enjoyed everything about this experience, thank you!
