This place is impeccable. Price is steep but worth every penny.

1) Great views of Mount Fuji
2) Two meals included each day. Say no more, the restaurant deserves at least a two Michelin star. Try for yourself and you'll see why.
3) Service standards are flawless. Expect to be treated like royalty.
4) Room is spacious and comes with a private onsen.
5) E-bikes available for rent, super thoughtful considering the hotel is located uphill.

High quality boutique hotels that offer great service and view of Mount Fuji. Room is spacious as you expect for a onsen hotel. But I expect they do a better job in maintenance as the room definitely shows signs of wear and tear. The whole hotel building is nicely designed and decorated that give you a very relaxed feel. Souvenir shops also stock lots of unique items. Great onsen and the free drinks and ice lolly available after it. But they charge you ¥2000 for grilling marshmallow which shock me.  Dinner and breakfast are included and they are good in onsen hotel standard. I have been to the Fufu Karuizawa one which is definitely much more impressive.

The only disappointment is the fact that dinner was not accommodating my family food intolerance even though we give them few hours of notice in advance.

Overall FuFu managed to provide the experience that justified the price. But I would still expect they can do better in certain areas.

Room is so perfect.
And the staff were all super friendly.
After we checked in ,they patiently answered all questions we had.
And view from the room is amazing ❤️
Definitely would love to visit again.

Stayed for 2 nights with my kid and the room was spacious and clean. View is spectacular and up on a mountain, not easily accessible unless you drive. The lady who greet us was friendly and helpful while the other staff kind of gave us the looks that they don’t like to serve at all. Made a booking to the spa and it was cancelled. Made a booking for the dinner and they pushed us to earlier time. Overall hardware is good but still room to improve on the service. Good for adult but not exactly friendly for children.
