Stunning, incredible experience. One of my favorite places ever. Due to surrounding conflicts at the moment, there were very few tourists. We have stayed the whole day over there, but there are routes for 3 days.

Beautiful place as it is a 7 wonder of the world. It is a long hike to get to the monastery but definitely worth it. Get there early as it will be an all day journey. There are people within selling jewlery, gifts, and water bottles. Don't ride the camels or donkeys! The guys riding them around are extremely pushy but be strong and say no. They will scam you and take more money than you need to be spending on those things.

Amazing place!!! If you want to arrive till the monastery it takes 2.5 hours (1 way)and you need to be prepared (lot of stairs, a bit difficult and you need water).

With the Jordan pass you don't pay the entrance. You can pay a guide for visit the first part of the archeological place

Oh Petra.. where can I start.. from its mind blowing stone carved buildings to its incredible engineering design.

Walking around Petra will keep you astonished at all times and keep thinking how this genius architecture was established more than 2000 years ago without the any of the current technology. This proves that the Nabateans were extremely smart and advanced and were able to build such city in the middle of the desert.

When you stand in front of ad-deir or the treasury, your eyes will just take you mindlessly to look at the fine details that these structures have. Extremely creative and artistic and nothing in the modern world could come near their perfection.

You have to visit this place at least once in your life and you will need three days to explore the entire city.
