On May 14, 2023, while my wife and I were checking in the Okura Hotel, Macau SAR, we’re attracted by the Ads of this restaurant. A staff in the vicinity, John, helped us make the dinner reservation.
We meant to order two sets of Kiaseki. Then, we thought they might be too much for us. So we ordered a set for my wife, and I would have barbecue eel and tempura. It turned out that our decision was right.
When the origins of the food ingredients were explained to us, we were amazed by the restaurant’s choices, as we go to Japan to sample good food regularly.
While the service of the staff were all very good, we were particularly pleased with those from Marco. He gave more attention to details and was very polite throughout.
For us, the meal will be an unforgettable one, as my wife got a flower present from the restaurant on Mother’s Day 2023!

Nice food, excellent service, set menu was disappointing but some dishes from al carte were very good, my favourite ones are the uni sashimi, Australian wagyu beef. I come back from time to time whenever I visit Macau.

Its good but not great. Decor is very nice, great view, decent service. But its like paying for 5 star but eating 3 1/2 star. I had better but definitely had worse. There is a good selection of alcohol. I don’t mind coming here again but only if i win some money gambling.

Yamazato är restaurangen jag saknade sällan varje gång jag åkte till Macau. Inte för att det är bekvämlighet eftersom jag mestadels bodde på Okura Hotel men jag njuter verkligen av mat, dryck och miljö. Jag njuter verkligen av maten här, som jag har beställt de flesta saker men den jag älskar mest är fisken i pappers varm kruka. Materialet är bra men soppan är bra. Låt mig kvalificera detta genom att säga att jag trodde att jag tog mina barn till en reaonably priced teppanyaki restaurang. Jag blev misstänkt för mitt misstag när vi gick till 28: e våningen i Okura Hotel i Galaxy-komplexet, där btw är en av mina favorit dim sum-restauranger för en söndags lunch också. Personalen verkade huvudsakligen japanska och talade perfekt engelska, som vi visades på ett hörnbord, med utsikt över Galaxy-poolen. Vi fick en stekt lax i en lätt ättika, som en amuse bouche. Vi hade då några av de halvfettiga toro. Om denna smälta i munnen var halvfettig, måste den feta toroen helt enkelt dissolera i munnen, men HKD 400-prismärken var mycket mer uthärdlig än HKD 1200-alternativet. Då en fantastisk bit Austalian Wagyu, medium sällsynt. Såsen var också underbar, och 150 g servering är bara tillräckligt för 6 bra bitar. Barnen hade Berkshire-fläsk, med en underbar mjuk soppa, soppa inaniwa nudlar och samma fläsk med ris och ett japanskt ägg. En liitle bit mindre på löken, och riset skulle ha varit top notch, men fortfarande var båda mycket bra. Ett måste ställas att gå om du vill prova äkta högkvalitativ sushi, tempura och wagyu som förbereddes av mästerkock Akira från Kyoto Okura, som insisterar på att bevara den formella japanska fullrätters middag med de finaste ingredienserna och hans unika skapelse och hantverk. Välj att prova menyn för att uppleva en fin Ryori juorney i denna del av världen. Du kommer bli förvånad över att upptäcka några nya element och ingredienser som glädjer din smak. Jag vill ha det på söndag morgon runt 1 p. m. och det verkar fullt, frågade jag om vi kunde komma tillbaka senare när vi bara bodde i Okura, kan du ringa mig om det är tillgängligt, men de insisterade på att alla är fullbokade. Jag gick sedan ner till 6 / F - Executive Lounge för att se om de kunde göra skillnad. Sedan sa de att de kunde ha ett bord med 2 pm. Vi var så glada över detta och tror att vi har en lyckodag. Men när vi gick upp med 2, var restaurangen bara upptagna av mycket få personer, minst 70% platser var tomma. Undrar om de vill göra affärer. ? ? ? Maten är ok, men jag blir spolit på grund av detta.

Jag har varit i denna restaurang många gånger och fira alltid min födelsedag på denna restaurang varje år eftersom jag tror att det här är en av de bästa japanska restaurangen jag någonsin har haft inte bara i Macau i form av plats, värmedekoration, tjänster och de flesta av alla livsmedel. Den här gången har jag försökt Kaiseki-menyn med bra affärer som inte besviken mig alls. Presentationen var stor och smaken var utmärkt inte inklusive födelsedagsrätten de har förberett för mig inklusive att ha chanser att träffas och chatta med kocken som är en minnesvärd födelsedag för mig. Vi beställde en lunch Omakase satt, och hoppades på ett tillfredsställande måltid på grund av priset premium att vi betalade (de mest dyra som var MOP 580 per invånare) . Maten var dålig för det pris vi betalade. Men vad var värsta var den 4:e/ 5:e loppet av de måltiden vi fick en skål med vitt ris och torkad fisk med lite dessa pickles. För det här priset premium och med en meny som namnges Omakase, det var fruktansvärt och hemskt. Värsta upplevelsen någonsin. Aldrig rekommenderar starkt att äta en omakase lunch satt här.
