It is right next to a bus terminal, which is helpful. The staff were professional though their bedside manner, from the very little I’ve seen, leaves much to be desired. Overall, I’d recommend looking at the unique carvings in the lobby.

This is by far the worst place I’ve ever been. There was absolutely no place for my family to sit and rest, we have to sit on the floor in the lobby. The staff are incredibly rude and show no willingness to assist unless you're spending money. I will never return to this place again.

being one of macao's most prominent iconic landmark and the second tallest building in macao (after macao tower), the lavish hotel was first opened in 2008, with the casino opened earlier in 2007. it would be a pity if you come to macau but miss this hotel/casino a visit to get a close up view of this plush but very artistic grandiose architectural design, even if you are not too much into betting, it is easily accessible by all means of transport with a public bus terminal nearby, and logistically it is easy to start from here to walk to some other popular tourist hot spots in macao, there are also free shuttle bus from hotel to many other transit locations such as outer harbour ferry terminal

one issue i'd like to bring up: this occasion and last time when i was walking near the casino (still in a distance), a tall and sturdy guy in his thirties or so approached me and asked in putonghua 普通話 to borrow money (different strong look tall guy each time but asked to borrow same amount ten thousand, i suppose he meant MOP$), i do not object to being approached by a pretty young girl, but approached by the same sex for whatever purpose made me feel uneasy…

I am appalled by the attitude and lack of professionalism among some hotel staff. Me and my girlfriend were curious about the sky Phoenix club situated on the 36th floor (or something around that) and made our way there. We were met by a gentleman from the staff who was rude in his tone towards us. Without greeting us in any way he said it was only for VIPs and rushed us back to the elevator and pressed the down button and left. I can only assume it was our casual attire that indicated we were not members of the club but even then one should not be treated any differently.
The cherry on top however, was that on multiple occasions one of the male staff who was guarding the elevators could not keep his eyes off of my girlfriend, to a point that we both noticed and were made feel uncomfortable. His stares started as we exited the elevator and proceeded to follow as we passed him. I could feel him staring down at my girlfriend‘s butt so I looked back at him and gave him a look. He was a gentleman of either indian or arabic descent dressed in a black suit and tie, wearing an earpiece on the Ground floor. I wish to call him out because this behaviour is unacceptable and inexcusable, on ANY occasion and most definitely not in a renowned 5-star hotel in one of the world‘s prime vacation cities. What a disappointing visit, sincerely.

Hotel Lisboas Kinesiska restaurang har länge varit en av Macaos bästa. Den pittoreska, eleganta platsen är fortfarande en topp - notch alternativ för dim sum. Lunchmenyn är omfattande med många unika smaker. Oxtungan är öm. Rostad gåscheong är gott. Krabbtårta, med mild currykrydda, är aromatisk. Ananas och röding siu bulle är salt. Servicen är noga med detaljer och pris mycket rimligt. Bokning rekommenderas.

Restaurangen måste ha varit där i decennier utan renovering, genom att komma in ger du den konstiga känslan. Känns faktiskt som ett tidsförsvar. Maten var inte mycket bättre än inredningen, inte dålig men men inte bra heller. Med ett val av så många kinesiska restauranger i Macau behöver du inte gå till den här.

Mycket genomsnittlig lördag yum cha - vi var 3 och vi fick höra att vi behövde vara ute kl 13. Tjänsten var mycket ojämn. Det tog 40 minuter för vår dim sum att anlända smaken på allt var mycket intetsägande och ganska smaklöst. Det fanns ingen ursäkt när dim sum-artiklarna äntligen kom. Maten smakade inte särskilt färskt. Jag skulle inte rekommendera denna restaurang till någon - mycket genomsnittlig erfarenhet och både mat och service saknas.

Jag besökte Portas Do Sol strax innan jag lämnade Macau tillbaka till Hong Kong. Jag besökte det på en söndag morgon (11:30) för dim sum med familj och vänner. Miljö - Ser bra ut och en trevlig plats att sitta med rymliga sittplatser, till skillnad från vissa dim sum restauranger i Hong Kong där borden är ganska mycket precis bakom dig. Mat - Det fanns ett brett urval av dim sumar, några av dim summat kan inte hittas i Hong Kong, jag tror för att de är traditionella Macau dim sum. Service - Faktum är att personalen är ganska bra. Inte bara är de ganska attraktiva, men deras kundtjänst är bra vilket det saknas mycket i Hong Kong. Sammantaget är det ett bra ställe för dim sum i Macau, särskilt innan du går till färjan, eftersom det finns gratis busstransfer, men var vänlig kom ihåg att ta hotellbussen och inte kasinoet en som kasinoet behöver en biljett.

Restaurangen var ganska trött och trött, men det finns fortfarande ganska mycket gäst där, det har visat sig att livsmedelskvaliteten borde vara ok. Presentationen och smaken av maten är både bra, även om vi inte beställde mycket, men vi kan fortfarande smaka på att kocken sätter ansträngningar på disken. För kycklingen tror jag personligen att de lägger för mycket plommonpulver, därför är smaken av plommon för mycket och täcker smaken av pomelo och kyckling, kan överväga att placera plommonpulvret på sidan, då kan gästerna sätta in enligt till sina egna preferenser.

Vi hade en utmärkt Dim Sum erfarenhet här. Atmosfären var mycket trevlig med en ljus inredning och rymligt sittplatser. Maten måste beställas snarare än serveras i vagnar; inte säker på om det här berodde på att vi gick på en vardag eller alltid är så här. Hur som helst, vår mat kom ut utmärkt och mycket välsmakande. Vi försökte en mängd olika objekt från dumplings till stekt ris. Tjänsten var också mycket bra.

Vi kom hit till lunch och var mycket nöjd. Matmiljön var trevlig med gammal kinesisk stil och även servitriserna hade traditionella outfits. Servitriserna kan prata olika språk - titta på landpinnen som de har på sig, även om det var lite dissapointing att de inte är mycket kunniga om de få dim sumrätterna vi frågar om. Men det spelade ingen roll för oss eftersom maten var alltför väl kokad och presenterad! Rekommendera starkt 'Bakad Tartelette med Krabbekött i Currysås', 'Ångad Räka Dumplings Smaksatt med Basil' och 'Ångad Fiskvatten Inslagna i Bambu Piths'. Tarteletten var min favorit eftersom det smakade gott med krabbekött i varje bit och det såg så söt ut! Priset var rimligt och platsen var bekvämt. Ett tips: Var vänlig och gör en bokning först, annars kommer du sluta vänta under spetstimmar.

Det här gamla och berömda restaurang i Macao, fortfarande på den översta av de bästa restaurangerna i området efter så många år, serverar en av de bästa dim sum (Yam'undertecknade tcha-). Maten är super bra och servicen mycket profissional och förnämligt till en mycket överkomlig priser.

The setting of the restaurant is klassiska kinesiska med många rundabordssamtal för stora familjer. Det var alla hjärtans dag med många restauranger är fullbokat. Detta var den första restaurang där vi faktiskt har en plats att sitta ner utan förbehåll. Vi har beställt 3 rätter. Alla var god. Lång tid vi hade en vegetarisk rätt som var så god och ren. Den hummer i tamarindbuljong var ok och för en oss en ny upplevelse att äta det som sätt. Den pilgrimsmusslor var stekt och lite torrt. Servicen var långsam i allmänhet med många medarbetare tomgång?! I allmänhet den var priset fair för vad du får.

I motsats till vad namnet antyder, är detta i själva verket en Kantonesiska restaurang, som serverar en mängd delikata och väl presenterade dim sum under lunch och äkta Kantonesiska mat tillsammans med liveband för ballroom dancing älskare på kvällarna.
