Chinese cuisine is rich in textures. this restaurant does the perfect job of bringing out clean, distinct subtle flavors with complex textures to capture classic dishes.

The green soup was made of basil, mint and sesame, paired with crunchy green beans, soft black eye peas, rice and other textures.

they only used local free range chickens. The Wine Chicken was a fermentation with red yeast, made in house.

Hands down the best Lei Cha in Klang Valley. The quality of the ingredients were fresh and impeccable. Very tasteful!
This restaurant deserved the Michelin star ⭐

It is a good place to go if it is your first time trying out lei cha. But not easy to find if you are on their side. Their internal sign board is blank. Tip would be look for pokemon noodle, it is somewhat opposite it. If really cannot go opposite road to look for the signboard.

Order lei cha for 15 rm and chinese tea aka pu er for 1rm

Lei cha tea is thick and is consumable by itself. As with most good lei cha it is combination of each ingredients that together became better than sum of individual. Chye poh gives it a nice savoriness while cha gives it a fantastic umami.

Pu er was good and doesn't feel diluted.

Heard so much about the authentic Hakka cuisine of Hor Poh Cuisine especially it's famous 雷茶 and decided to come with family for a Sunday lunch. Although quite a distane but using NKVE was less than 30 mins travelling time from Subang Jaya. Parking was quite okay on Sunday, we managed to find parking in front of the shop. Shop front is no fancy decor and interior furnishing is simple but clean and reasonably spacious. A 2-sided laminated menu contain all the typical Hakka dishes. Prices are reasonable and non premium priced. Dishes mostly with 3 options of small, medium and large serving portion. Placing order is simple and staff is very helpful and friendly. We ordered quite some typical Hakka dishes including its famous 雷茶. Dishes serving was quick, all dishes came within 15 minutes after placing orders. Dishes taste good and authentic Hakka style of cooking. So much so that we even ordered takeaway 3 serving of 雷茶 and 1 serving of 梅菜扣肉 😁. All-in, dine-in and takeaway, surprisingly it was totaled to only RM200 (before tax)! Despite the distance this place will really worthwhile for us to return for more meals in future 👍. Staff told us that grab delivery could be expensive due to the distance and food might lost its freshness when it reach our house 😔.

This restaurant serves truly delectable Hakka dishes! It is my first time having lunch here, and the food tastes just like home-cooked meals. The flavors are simply delightful! I highly recommend arriving early to secure a seat, as the restaurant tends to fill up quickly.
