I recently visited this restaurant, and I couldn’t be happier with my experience! The food was absolutely amazing – everything I ordered was bursting with flavor and perfectly cooked. You can tell they use high-quality ingredients and put a lot of care into each dish.

The service was equally impressive. The head chef and other staff were friendly, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed without being intrusive. They went above and beyond to make our meal enjoyable. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a delicious meal with fantastic service and city view. I’ll definitely be coming back!

CALIA is located at Pavillion KL, level 6 where Kampachi n Al Akmar at. Yeah centre court where on your right would be Tokyo Street. Wanted to celebrate a friend birthday & was looking for value for money resto. And we decided to do Ramadhan Buffet at CALIA.

Must say, the food was excellent! The buffet spread was sufficient and personally i enjoyed it - no wastage. TBH how much can you eat during Iftar. The spread is a combination of malay dishes ( ie beef rendang, ikan asam, rice ), japanese ( ie sushi, sashimi, ramen soup ) and western ( ie grilled lamb, salads ) and oh the kuih muih plus fruits. I tried almost all and had enjoyed it especially the grilled lamb. The lamb was marinated & grilled well. Splendid!!!
Quality of meat is superb - a choice of wagyu beef. Must try too is the two soups - ramen bowl & udon bowl ( couldn’t remember exact names ), it was warmth my tummy after a long day of fasting. Love it!
Choices of fibre, grilled vegs to salad to fruits were great.

The services deserved a praise, attentive, warmth, well trained, and we were surprised with a Happy Birthday cake made with love, i presume :)) … We were glad we chosen Calia!! Really enjoyed it. No fuss. Food was 👍🏻. Kudos to chef richard tay n kitchen team n frontliner team. We appreciate you!

Oh hot coffee n teh tarik was great. A little too sweets to my taste thou. Thank You Calia for having us!

This was a great pick by my colleague for a team dinner. Awesome food, great music and perfect background music. The mains were perfectly cooked but a bit heavy handed on the salt for the truffle fries. All in all it was a great experience!

Decent fusion Japanese and Western fare. Elevated presentation of most dishes with prices to match. We booked a table for business lunch just for the more conducive environment and ambience amidst the mall crowd. Overall quite shiok experience foodwise.

Located in Pavilion KL this restaurant serves dishes which are predominantly Japanese but with a hint of fusion brought into the mix. The ambience of the restaurant is lovely with nice views of Bukit Bintang from the tables located along the window. Service is generally good. Star dishes for us were the Kale salad (add on the marinated fish) and the salted egg fried chicken. The salmon sashimi, although in presentation being impressive, but the smokey taste of the smoke to infuse the dish is quite overpowering in my opinion and definitely takes away from the freshness of the salmon and the sauce and condiments it is accompanied with. All in all still a very solid dining choice in Pavilion KL.
