Went before 8:30AM and plenty of seats. Popular with both locals and tourists.

Carrot cake is good. Rest are okay. Order dimsum from push cart.

Love the old house atmosphere.

This dim sum place is old. Actually tried to eat nearby at another dim sum shop but it was so crowded and decided to eat here 😅 Not all selections are good though. Avoid the egg tarts. Trust me. The ang tho mee is quite good but the black vinegar is not up to standard making the whole thing taste so so ordinary sadly. This will inspire me to cook it myself 😅. On the whole, I would give it 3.5 stars but I don't have that option so it has to be 4 stars. Parking wise I came by bike so no issues there. If you use a car, let's hope you're lucky to find parking. My advice is better take Grab unless you keep winning the lottery 😁

Food.
Taste wise were good. Although some of it I expect to be served hot, but I had 1 dish that was not hot.
For drink I ordered pu er tea. Was good but honestly I expect more.
Overall I would say the food taste OK and enjoyable.

Service.
Good and attentive. Staffs were smiling and friendly. They mingled around with the food cart. You can choose which menu you would like to try. A traditional way but to me this is what makes it felt special.

Price.
Reasonable.

Place.
Clean tables.

Parking.
Can be a challenge. Located at a busy area. You would park at roadside, then might take a walk to this place.

Traditional mooncake wooden molds were put as decorative items on the stair wall. I returned for the fried noodle and wantan mee. Small portion of their fried noodle is enough for one person and there are many varieties of dim sum from the kitchen which are always above standard.

One of the best options if want to have breakfast in Penang Island. Their ‘fried fan shu’ has very good wok hei, king prawn fried cripsy noodles has special sauce which is tempting. Dim sum is good enough. Very comfortable eating space.
