This is a great resort. Not only is the environment beautiful, but the variety of restaurants and the quality of the meals are also very high. I especially recommend the Vakkaru Reserve wine cellar restaurant. Thanks to our Chinese housekeeper Tina for helping us handle various affairs with care. We had a lot of fun here

One of the best resorts you can find hands down anywhere.  I have been to places like the Waldorf Astoria and the Four Seasons and The One & Only in Maldives.  And, I'm honestly stating that I will more likely return to the Vakkaru than the other three, which is saying a lot.  Firstly, the rooms are impeccable and you have absolute clarity not only with pictures but floorplans which are very suitable for families.  Secondly, the food which is managed by head Chef Idris who roams around the resort mingling with guests is really spot on.  Their Middle Eastern food/Lamb Chops, or their Asian food (Curries, and Grills) were spectacular.  We also enjoyed their very large Breakfast Buffet.

The service is also great especially if you celebrating an occasion.  We were celebrating our son's 10th birthday and they went out of their way to make sure during every moment he felt special and that he will always remember this trip.  We will always remember this resort and time we spent here all the other things including the sporting facilities, spa, beach were as good as you'd expect them to be in a place like this.

Definitely worth visiting and it is only a 30 minute seaplane ride away from the International Airport. You will not regret booking this resort!

Vakkaru is a wonderful place and became one of our favorite resorts in maldives.
Here comes a lot of great people together to make this experience so unique and wonderful!!! You have a lot of most romantic and delicious dining opportunities (our favorites vakku and lagoon bar (good sushi)).

The house reef is in my eyes one of the healthiest ones (we visit 15 resorts).

Chilly the absolut best house cleaner I have ever met!!!! Uchu and Nacha and all of the waiters they really let you feel special!!! This was by far the best hotel we stayed at. The service is impeccable. Our butler Iby was amazing we couldn’t have asked for more. The breakfast is half buffet half a la carte and has anything you could think of. Dinner is a la carte which is amazing. We had the cinema on the beach which was a dream! They really go out of their way to make your stay memorable.  I was quite scared to try snorkelling but the staff at Splash are incredibly patient, careful and knowledgable. I snorkelled every day. I even tried scuba diving and once i did i didn’t wanna stop. I had an instructor (Ifran) at all times who was incredibly patient and careful with me. If you ever want to try scuba diving this is definitely the place to be. I never thought i’d feel so safe 10m under water. Totally recommend the turtle and manta ray snorkelling trips. What attracted us to the resort was the house reef (not all hotels have one) and the fact that is a natural island not man made. Overall it was an unreal experience and definitely a place to see at least once in a lifetime.
