A four day and three night stay in Maldives at Soneva Jani in December 2022. The Soneva resorts in Maldives have some of the largest over-the-water bungalows in the world. This is what attracted me to this resort. Well known celebrities like John Legend have also vacationed here. This resort's motto is "No shoes, no news." It's super relaxing and the sunsets are absolutely breathtaking! We stayed in the one bedroom water reserve with slide. The pictures does this resort no justice. It's more mesmerizing in person. Definitely a trip to remember.

We had a wonderful stay in this resort.
Room cleaning happens twice a day and they take care of everything. The food is below the expectations and the wooden walkway wasn't so safe to walk around on my barefoot but the atmosphere, interior design and the ocean colors cannot be better! This place is a true paradise.

My wife and I visited for a week-long vacation in the beautiful secluded resort. Based on what I have read and seen, the resort is partially independent of the mainland, serves delicious food all over the island, and has pristine long sandy beaches. We enjoyed scuba diving, snorkeling, paddle boarding, and different cuisines by visiting international chefs. We asked the chef's staff; they were Micheline Star chefs or trained by one for many years. It is on the higher end of costs relative to others, but you also get a unique experience with the international staff who always are friendly and happy to help or just chat. There is a medical staff on-site 24/7 and a hospital evacuation service if needed. We actually needed it because of my wife's cold. The doctor saw her the same day, and the next day we were escorted by staff to a hospital on a nearby island. If you are considering coming there with your family, it is a great place for creating new memories. There were many young families. Accommodations are stand-alone houses, and they are epic, with a slide that throws you straight to the ocean's waters, a wide deck with a pool to lounge, eat, and star-gaze at night. There is almost no light pollution, and you can star-gaze from many places at your house or across the island. One more thing, you can Google pictures of the island and property, it is precisely what you see. Hope this helps, cheers!

I have a very nice experience this week in Soneva Jani.
The service is 5stars: everyone is friendly and smile. My butler Adrian is excellent. He did great arrangement for us everyday. When we have problems, he always reply us soon. He even helps us to fill the QR code for Maldives health declaration. And the new chapter Spa Center is amazing. Beautiful house around grove, I fell very relax! High recommend.
The food is 4 stars. It’s delicious food but not fresh for the seafood. I tried the crab restaurant, the crab is not fresh. I understand it’s not easy delivery food to here. If they can improve this problem that will be perfect.
Room condition: 4 stars. There is water leaking in living room and power off four times. And the bedroom still a little hot when I turn on the air conditioner. Hope they can improve this.
Environment: 5 stars. Very beautiful sea and great concept. I am endorse the concept no news no shoes. There is no any plastic bag. And they have a place to dispose all rubbish in this island. That’s very good ideal. Everyone should protect the environment! And there also very beautiful children center. There are some lovely staff can take care of your baby. My little daughter has great experience in here! That’s very good for family travel.
Plus: they also have very good service after sales. After you leave the hotel, they also take care you until you finish check-in. During the waiting time, you can stay their lounge to rest and enjoy free beverage. Really lovely service and staff!  I came another hotel in 2017 and there is no any service after you leave hotel.
Totally, thank you everyone of Soneva Jani team. My family and I had a great holiday in here.
