4 nights spent in October. The hotel is very unique, set on the edge of a mountain very high up.

Food, drink and the service provided by the incredibly friendly staff were exceptional.

The hotel is around a two and half hour drive from the airport and the hotel offers a great transfer service - car equips with cold water, snacks and WiFi.

For a 5 star luxury hotel I’d have liked a bit more atmosphere around the hotel, however it often felt quite bleak and lifeless.

We got a day pass for 25 OMR which you can spend at the resort. It was the perfect way to end our holiday, service is more than over the top great. The view is stunning and the hot tubs and infinity pool are the cherry on top.

As known by it is luxury and outstanding location, here another Anantara resort located at top of  Green mountain Oman .
Charming view with skywalk known as queen Diana.
Landscaping done with top notch design matching with the architecture of the building.
Swimming pool is best what like there , diving in the clouds .
Lobby and hospitality with no limit and evaluation.

We have stayed at many hotels, but this was by far the most unforgettable experience we’ve ever had. Booking a villa was the best decision—offering unparalleled privacy, tranquility, and a stunning private infinity pool with breathtaking views of the canyon.

The staff were truly exceptional! A heartfelt thank you to the incredible cleaning team, who ensured our room was always spotless, as well as to Praveen, our dedicated private concierge. Special thanks also to Hadi, April, and Ankit from the restaurant, Zabir the talented chef, and Abdur (pool).

We will definitely return—this was hands down the best hotel we’ve ever stayed at.

The view is EVERYTHING!

You are on a mountain peak, and can enjoy the highpoint views from most spots in the hotel.

It is profoundly quiet, which if you are looking to relax, and enjoy the sun with a cool breeze is just perfect.

The drive up is slightly tiresome, and when you arrive (With your own car) you are expected to park it yourself, which I thought was a bit odd for a 5-Star hotel. (Hence the 4-Star rating for this review).

Nonetheless, I would definitely recommend this place when visiting Jabal Akhdar.
