I had passed by Alvigha many times, but seeing the crowd every time discouraged me from trying it. Plus, I always assumed it would be quite expensive.

However, my perception changed after visiting.
We ordered the "Shahi Platter," which cost Rs. 5,500, and we were a group of seven. Initially, I was worried that one platter might not be enough for us.

But when it arrived, I was relieved to see the generous portion of meat kebabs and creamy chicken tikka, along with a good quantity of rice. In fact, there was so much food that we couldn’t finish it all.
The taste was excellent, and the presentation was impressive as well.

The outdoor seating makes it ♿wheelchair accessible, but 🅿️ parking on this street is quite a challenge.

It was a good experience. Taste is better than 90% of restaurants I've experienced.

I would rate the food 9/10.

During my stay in Karachi, I visited this restaurant at night with few friends, restaurant was quiet crowded. Few things I've experienced there:
- Parking is paid
- Service is slow, but if you're at night-out with friends, you might have patience to wait.
- They've "Sales Tax" on their menu now a days (according to friends around me, there was no such taxation in the past)
- Restaurant is on roadside, so you've to bear noise of traffic.
- Food is something we can say it was good, almost according to our expectations. Few friends disagreed on it😅.

Visited alviga on weekday around 9.30pm and it was super busy. Luckily we got a table outside as the inside hall is for families only.

After requesting multiple times the table got cleaned and again after multiple requests the menu card was provided.

For the order taking the floor manager stepped in finally when he saw us frustrated.

On his recommendation we ordered mutton raan and malai boti. Mutton raan server with red chutney and raita was tender and flavorful enough to fill the stomachs of 4 hungry people. Malai boti was equally good topped with their special white sauce.

Total bill came out to be around 7600/- including 8% gst as we paid by card.

In my opinion They shouldn't increase the number of waiters as there were many but should get them properly trained. Multiple people are doing the same job.

Will definitely visit again for their food and if they improve their service.

The food and service was good and the prices, I would say were not very expensive. The fresh salad served was not up to the mark, though it was not free with any main course and had to be purchased.
