We had an amazing evening at Yamamzato Restaurant in Manila. The food was absolutely exquisite – each dish felt like a work of art, showcasing incredible attention to detail and flavours that left us in awe. The service was just as impressive, with Cath ensuring we were well taken care of throughout the evening. A special mention to Chef Kato for crafting such a memorable dining experience!

The food was exquisite, a showcase of Japanese flavours where every dish is a pleasure to the taste buds. We had the Sukiyaki Kaiseki, Tobanyaki Kaiseki and the seasonal Yamazato Kaiseki Chuushuu.

The restaurant was designed tastefully and the atmosphere it created complemented thr flavours.

Special thanks to Rose, Jeanne and Yoki for making our experience with Japanese cuisine smooth and enjoyable, truly a fusion Filipino and Japanese hospitality.

So far the closest restaurant in the Philippines with the looks and taste of Japan. Very nice presentation. My new favorite Japanese Restaurant.

I like the Yamazato in Bangkok very much, so I didn’t hesitate to come to here for dinner.

I noted the negative reviews on google map, so I set my expectation low. Fortunately, it didn’t disappoint.

Although the fish in the nigiri sushi set were basic, their quality was quite good.

Tamago yaki was very tasty.

I came on Monday evening. The waitress told me that the sushi bar opens on Thursday to Sunday. I guess there would be more variety of fish.

Service was excellent. Comfortable and peaceful environment with Japanese background music.

If you want to get authentic japanese culinary experience with the finest of the ingredients and quietest ambience. Yamazato is the place. The fine dining ala carte area (they have a separate teppanyaki area with set menu) feels like u are sitting inside a wooden modern cave with whatsoever no astehics (of course its my opinion). The lighting wasnt enough in the corner table so has to be fixed. And they close by 930pm (bummer)

BUT, the BIGGEST BUT, is that its the best japanese food I ve had in my life. The sashimi melted like butter in the mouth. Sooo must visit with some extra money to splurge in the pocket.
