Our experience at Zuma today was deeply disappointing and has left us questioning whether we will ever return. As loyal patrons on our third visit, we never anticipated such an unpleasant encounter.

In the past, I had requested Tabasco sauce to enjoy with my oysters—a classic accompaniment to vinaigrette. Both times, the request was denied, and I was offered Sriracha, which, in my opinion, is entirely unsuitable for oysters. To avoid repeating this issue, I decided to bring my own Tabasco to ensure a better dining experience.

Unfortunately, what followed completely tarnished our visit. Ibrahim, who identified himself as a manager, approached our table and proceeded to criticize me for having Tabasco on the table. Despite my polite explanation that I brought it due to the restaurant’s inability to provide it, his tone remained dismissive and condescending.

A professional response from a manager would have been to approach the matter with tact and understanding. Perhaps a solution like discreetly providing a small serving dish for the sauce could have preserved both the guest’s satisfaction and the restaurant’s image. Instead, the rigid and unaccommodating attitude displayed was both shocking and disappointing.

This experience overshadowed the rest of our brunch, leaving us feeling unwelcome and undervalued. When dining at a high-end establishment like Zuma, one expects not only exceptional food but also service that matches its reputation. Regrettably, today’s experience fell far below those standards.

We were lucky. Almaha island was celebrating 3 year’s anniversary we were given 50% discount on the bill . However, the staff didn’t inform when we came so we can order more food and drinks  . The place is lively and full .

We had a wonder dinner at Zuma for my boyfriend birthday. The foods are amazing and I love all of them. Definitely will come back again. Ting was taking care of our table who was amazing with her job as she recommended us the dishes that we like much and also her genuine service made us more comfortable and enjoyed our night there.

Straight to the point the food isn't as good as their London branch and the miso black cod even cost more, but the atmosphere is definitely worth a visit especially on Fridays when the bar turns into a 'club lounge' with really good djs.

Great food, service and views.

Sorry a little late in this review as forgot to post. Visited in October 2023, I would say the best Zuma I have been to.

Located in Lusail, beautiful restaurant with great views and service.

2 of us had the chefs menu, some pictures attached.

Every dish was amazing, but there was just too much, by the time dessert arrived, we had no room left.

Coming from London, I found it to be very well priced too, make sure you go if ever in Doha, one of my favourites.
