Nicely tucked away below the main street level, under the shadow of the JW Marriott building, LUBC offers some relaxed dining, with a reasonable menu selection.
Service is attentive, and not overbearing. Food of solid quality, and arrives promptly. Prices, whilst not cheap, are better than the better known places within the area.
Good thinking by the management to provide large fans to assist the comfort levels on those sticky Singapore afternoons.
One suggestion though ensure you have an alternative payment method at hand as their credit card readers:connections, can be a bit temperamental

As the only guest, the atmosphere couldn't be better than 3 stars. Service was good, though. Almost everybody asked med what I wanted, no wonder since I was the only one there.
But all in all, it's a modern place with its own beer in the middle of an office building square.
I feel like a great atmosphere would never come here based on its location.

Yesterday, December 6th, we reserved the venue at Little Island South Beach for a Christmas dinner with over 100 attendees from our school. As students, it was our first time organizing such a large-scale dinner, and we were initially uncertain about many details. Fortunately, Christine was incredibly patient and helpful in answering our questions. She carefully curated a menu within our budget and helped set up the venue beautifully.

Special thanks to Head Chef Sam for preparing an amazing feast! We especially loved the Wagyu Beef Brisket—it was tender and flavorful. One of my classmates even joked she could eat it all day, haha!

A big thank you to Durga and the rest of the staff for their attentive service. The venue is spacious, stunning, and creates a great atmosphere. Located in the city center, it’s convenient and perfect for corporate events, dinners, or parties. Everyone had a fantastic time!

Excellent place in town, conveniently located. Serves great food and list of great drinks and nice beers to choose from. Highly recommended.

Kitty and I, along with our friend, decided to try out Little Island Brewing Co. for dinner. We made a reservation for 9:30 PM and were pleasantly surprised by the warm welcome we received. The staff were very helpful, even assisting us in finding a spot to store our bicycles.

The restaurant manager, who is also the chef (Sam), came over to greet us personally.  He was incredibly friendly and humble, and he took the time to recommend some of his favorite dishes.  He suggested the Dukkah Cauliflower, Slow Roasted Pork Belly, Grilled Argentinian Steak, and Shio Koji Pork Cheek, all of which sounded amazing. We were happy to try everything he suggested! He was even generous enough to let us sample his different beers. We ended up trying most of them and really enjoyed the selection.

Kitty and I decided to go with the Golden Eel and the Black Magic.  We also sampled the One of Those Pale Ale. The Black Magic had a bit of a coffee aftertaste, while the Golden Eel was lighter and fruitier. Our friend, after trying a few beers, decided to stick with Coke in the end, which gave us a good laugh.

After we ordered, Sam personally prepared our dishes, and we were all impressed with his cooking skills. The Dukkah Cauliflower was cooked perfectly with the house-made recipe.  The Slow Roasted Pork Belly was tender, juicy, and had a nice crispy skin.  We ordered the Grilled Argentinian Steak medium-well, and it was cooked to perfection. Kitty and I mentioned to our friend that we regretted ordering the medium-well and should have gone for the medium-rare. We were confident that Sam could handle the steak well and deliver the true flavors of the premium beef to us. Because our friend only eats medium-well beef, we encouraged her to try medium-rare in the future. The Shio Koji Pork Cheek was also tender and juicy, but it had a slightly sweeter aftertaste.  If you're not a fan of sweetness, this might not be for you, but overall, it was a delicious dish.

We would like to commend Sam, the chef and manager of the restaurant, for taking extra steps and effort to serve us and show his hospitality and culinary skills.  We loved all the dishes as they were delicious and well-cooked.  The ambiance was nice, and the staff were also friendly.  Sam mentioned that they usually have songs played at the venue, but there was none that evening due to a function.  He even came out to us for feedback on his dishes after we had finished our meal, which is commendable. He also shared that he makes a great lava chocolate dessert and invited us to try it on our next visit.

Overall, we are very satisfied with the service, the atmosphere, and of course, the delicious food.  We will definitely recommend Little Island Brewing Co.  With Sam and his team, you're sure to have a great experience.
