Walked in on a Saturday night for dinner with a group of friends and luckily we got a table! The mala ramen was amazing, umeshu was mind blowing. Please get the whisky umeshu tester set, all 3 shots were great! Staff was attentive as well, and very easy going. Had such a good time that we all stayed till the closing time even though our original plan was to go elsewhere to bar hop 😅 I’ll be back for sure!!

It’s more of a bar-style tiny restaurant. Food selection wasn’t wide. Seats are all high chairs or bar counter, only 1 table is normal chair height. Really tiny place but because the shop space itself is really tiny.

I had the angry chashu ramen. Good thing is, the “angry” is not that hot-tempered (not that spicy) and it’s centered (a lump of chili paste on top) so if you don’t want it to be angry, just omit the chili paste. To be honest, the broth is so much better without the chili paste. Chashu not too fatty so I like it. The nori (seaweed sheet) is battered & fried, genius idea cuz it didn’t get soft! We also ordered a garlic chicken karaage - chicken is crisp on the outside but juicy on the inside so nailed it. The sauce for the chicken was a tad overwhelming but it’s by the side so you can opt out as well.

I also ordered a cocktail, the ume highball. I don’t normally drink and when I do, I usually go for cocktail. I must say, this cocktail I don’t taste much of any alcohol even in the first sip when it was served, let alone towards the end - this is the only disappointing part. You can taste the saltiness of the ume on the last sip though.

So for 2 bowls of noodles, 2 cocktails and an appetizer to share set us off by about $48 each.

Always a fun cocktail bar with great food to pair with the drinks. Warm and friendly service by the waiters and bar tenders. I was recommended a limited edition Umeshu blend which was an excellent start to the night. Second time I’ve returned and I will definitely come back again.

Charming little bar, perfect for Umeshu (aka plum wine) lovers 💚. We really enjoyed sampling different kinds of Umeshu and cocktails, with some helpful guidance on the flavors.

Unfortunately, a few options on the menu weren’t available, but nothing that took away from the experience.

There are also a few food items if you’re feeling a bit snacky. And depending on when you visit, booking in advance might be worth it 🗓️

Love the vibes here! It’s a 10/10 for me. Food wise it’s decent, but it’s the drinks that really stood out. The staffs gave us a free drink on the house as well & it was really nice. Will be back again when Vol. 4 is out!
