Highly recommended by a local good friend. We took a taxi to the restaurant at 5 pm, to avoid the queue. We made an order and waited for only about 10 minutes. The food arrives continuously without delay. The broth is good, the seafood is fresh. The rice in the broth is just nice, not too soft, not too hard. The thickness of the broth is well done. Prawns and clams are fresh. The famous lobster porridge is the best option to try. Overall it is a little pricey, but it is worth an experience for tourists. We spent almost $300 for 6 adults meal. I think we pay for the Michelin star, more than the simply menu choices. If you visit Singapore and read this review, you have to make a trip down here.

Is it nice? YES. Does it worth the money? NO.

We traveled one hour for this Michelin prawn noodle shop. Overall very good taste but you can easily find cheaper equivalent elsewhere.

The mains are priced average from $15 to $20 for one person portion, with not so much ingredients. The broth is nice but they use exactly the same broth for everything.

If you live nearby can try once, but definitely not worth returning.

Arrived at 6+ on a Saturday and thankfully had no queue (the queue started getting really long when our food came shortly after ordering).

Ordered the Claypot Hokkien Mee ($14), Prawn Noodle Bowl ($14) as well as the Seafood Paofan ($16). I'm assuming the soup base was the same for all, the extremely rich, flavorful, prawn bisque that has the umami boost from the clams while cooking. The prawns are not the most fresh ones but definitely not halved like most places. You get 3 adequately sized prawns with a lot of clams for each item, and the prawn noodle bowl allows you to customise the ingredients to go into it.

Hokkien Mee had a very strong smokiness (wokhei) to it but wasn't overpowering. The fried pork lard portion is very generous as well, and it definitely was a good combo with the Hokkien mee.

This is a place is on the pricier end with each meal costing around 14$-20$. And they do make it up with that price point.

The soup from the prawn noodles is simply amazing you can really taste the broth down to the ingredients in it. They really boiled the soup for a long period of time brining out that umami flavour in it. It has a really distinct taste that I would strongly recommend for you to try it.

The prawn paste chicken has a very unique taste and it’s one of the few places where I can strongly taste the prawn flavour in the chicken.

The Hokkien mee was average nothing too special about it besides the way it’s prepared

All in all I would highly recommend this place it’s more a fusion prawn noodle place so don’t expect any transitional taste.

And don’t order too many stuff their tables are pretty small 🥹

Hokkien mee packed with juicy prawns, succulent clams (lala), and a rich umami broth, was absolutely satisfying. The clay pot presentation added a rustic charm and kept the dish warm throughout the meal. Must add their chili to elevate further!

Prawn paste chicken, or har cheong gai, was another highlight of the meal – wah, it was damn crispy and full of that savoury prawn paste umami. Outside shiok crispy, inside juicy like nobody’s business. Every bite had that solid kick of flavour, confirm make you want to go for another piece.
The pork roll was also delicious, with a nice mix of textures and a savory filling.
