Took a stroll through Jurong Central Park over the weekend — a peaceful green escape nestled just minutes away from Jurong Point and Boon Lay MRT.

Though it’s not as expansive as Jurong Lake Gardens, the park offers a refreshing and lush environment that’s perfect for unwinding after a hearty lunch or shopping spree at the mall. With its open lawns, shaded walking paths, and the gentle rustling of trees, it’s a wonderful spot to just pause and breathe.

If you’re around Jurong and need a short nature break, this park is definitely worth a visit. Sometimes, it’s the smaller green spaces that offer the biggest reset.

Jurong Central Park is similar to New York's Central Park with lush vegetation, street-lined lamposts and hidden urban farmlands, but, no water fountains for quick refreshment except for a vending machine beside the toilets and no waterfront area around Jurong River for people to come by and sit for a picnic. There is a McDonald's Drive-Thru and Dine-in for a quick bite in the quietness of a quaint town garden.

This park is located just beside jurong point, good place for jogging and brisk walk. Though it is small but about 1km one circle. There is Mcdonald there. And a mini gardening place for our residence. U see the mango, some fruits I never see before.
