Had a try here after some years again. Would say it still kept a pretty good standard, had the breakfast platter which was good scrambled egg was nicely done as well as the portobello mushroom. The sausage was of great quality as well and we had the French toast with berry’s. Mocha was nicely done aswell and the strawberry shaken ice tea. Staff were quite attentive as well overall service was good. Overall would recommend if your feeling fancy.

Singapore is home to many outstanding specialty coffee roasters, and Chye Seng Huat (or PPP) is most definitely one of them. The cafe itself was quite big with plentiful seating, but do take note that majority of the seats are counter seats. If you're dining here as a bigger group, you may find the available seats to be quite limited. Although there is an outdoor seating area, I doubt that anyone opt for that given the weather that we have.

Whilst there were a considerable amount of food options available, I was there solely for the coffee. Do take note that the prices of the food is definitely on the higher side, but that's to be expected from a cafe setting.

Back to the coffee, regardless of your preference for it, there's bound to be something on the menu that fits your taste buds. I had their cappuccino using their Nuts & Bolts blend as well as a cup of their blend of the day filter coffee. Both cups were delicious in their own aspects, but I highly recommend you try out their selection of filter coffee if you're feeling more adventurous or simply prefer your coffee without milk.

The best part is that if you do have the means of preparing your coffee at home, you can head over to The Annex located behind the cafe area and simply purchase the whole beans of the blend that you enjoy. The staff are also extremely helpful and will assist in finding something that you'll enjoy based on what you describe to them.

We bumped into this coffee place simply cos it looks interesting. But it offers more than interesting; the food is well put together with fresh ingredients. I love the coffee smell, the industrial vibe that exuded energy of the waiting team. The place is popular and you may have to wait a bit for seats inside.

The food though good, did not outshine the coffee which still lures me back.

Cafe's ambient is great.. but the service can be further improved, we were seated unattended for quite a while, and we even get the plain water ourselves..

Food wise, limited choices on the menu, and nothing too fancy.. ended up ordering a burger and croissant, would say they are average..

Overall, it's a great spot for quality coffee and a quick bite, but if you're planning to visit with a group or looking for a more leisurely experience, seating might be a bit of a challenge.
