Went on a friday evening with friends for food and drinks. Food was ok as we ordered finger food and pizza. Drinks price is ok as the highball was like $8 per glass for happy hour.

Everything was decent, not good and not bad.

The one thing I want to mention is about the whatsapp reservation. I did make a reservatio  through whatsapp but the reply on whatsapp does take very long as the person in charge of it takes a few hours to reply me. I hope the whatsapp reservation will have some improvement.

Situated within a quick walk from Telok Ayer MRT and located along an alley occupied by numerous drinking places lies this bar which stood out as my personal favourite. I've been here on several occasions on Fridays and it is easy to see that this is a popular watering hole for corporate workers seeking a good time after office hours and this place is also equally frequented by young folks later in the evening. Starting from the happy hour deals that begin at 4pm until 9pm, beer and liquor lovers will be delighted to get the best value out of their dollars here. I am a beer person and I would normally go for their black cab stout and the taste was good. The best experience here was the food which surprisingly enough, given how bar food can be a hit or miss most times, their food here turned out to be good tasting. We ordered the deep fried pork belly, the sweet potato fries with mentaiko sauce, sambal chicken and the singapore meehoon. The fried pork belly was very well marinated and offered a flavorful punch with every bite. The pork wasn't dry and it was also tender with a good mix of fat and meat. The sweet potato fries were crispy and the sweetness paired well with the creamy mentaiko sauce. Next, the sambal chicken was a generous serving of boneless juicy chicken chunks coated in spicy sambal sauce which delivered a good aromatic kick. The flavors were good although I'd hope for more dried shrimps to further enhance the aroma. The singapore meehoon was a very good plate because not only was the wok hey noticeably present, the seasonings were spot on and the smell of it when served was truly tantalising. I can't fault their food here in any way as I haven't had a below average food experience. In overall, the food here were amazing considering that it was a bar kitchen setting and the drinks were good and affordable especially when you can catch their happy hours. The place here is very lively on Friday evenings and it can get crowded as well as loud, but if that's the night out you're looking for then I highly suggest that you give this place a check out.

went on weekday lunch and it was crowded. had to sit outside without shade and they were unable to extend the shelter... there were birds flying around and jumping literally on the tables that we are sitting at throughout the meal. wasnt able to eat in peace with all the birds flying to us without warning... we were on a lookout trying to scare them away. very stressful meal and feels very unhygienic. one of the bird flew so close and flicked a piece of tissue that was on our table to our tray..

Very value for money kind of lunch u can have during office lunch time! My colleague and I tried their herbal chicken drumstick and salted egg pork as the meat mains, both are great! Portion size was more than sufficient for me as it also comes with a small side and vegetable with rice and soup for Set B. Will definitely visit again!
