Great food at a nice location by the river . The chef actually stepped out and enquired about our meal which was excellent.
The waitstaff pretty much left us alone after serving  the meal initially and had to be flagged down to fill water glasses and for drinks.
Definitely a must go though.

There were 4 of us…….
We appreciate that gluten-free menu is offered.Food was served  “less salty” as requested, thank you very much.The meat kebabs (including the fish kebab) were fresh, not salty yet tasty and still moist (not dry)The chicken in walnut & promeganate sauce was so so delicious, the best I’ve tasted in any Persian restaurant!The  sharing starter dips platter was so yummy and as my husband is on gluten-free diet, carrot & cucumber sticks were offered to him instead of bread……good options for those on less carb diet too! All the dishes were fresh & delicious; we feel we have eaten healthy after leaving the restaurant. Thank you to the chef!And thank you to the service staff for being friendly, helpful & informative abt the food they are serving and what is in the menu.Will definitely recommend your restaurant.

Amazing Persian fare in Robertson Quay. Really good place for group dining, catching up with friends. Will definitely recommend.

We went as a group of 8 people. From the get go  the place impressed with service. Waiters recommended optimal choices for our group and were patient in taking orders.
We ordered a Deluxe mix Appetiser platter, Koofte parsi (lamb meatballs), Saffron chicken wings, and another hot platter to start.
The deluxe platter came with dips and every dip was really good. Muhammara was the best of the lot, and their aubergine dip was also very tasty, The parsi kofta was a bit too sweet for many peoples liking. One of the other minced lamb starter in the platter was much better..
Chicken wings and falafel -text book stuff. Nothing to complain. . One slight contention - their pita wasn't actually pita. It was just Naan. It was good Naan but Pita would have done more justice to the Dips and kebabs. One of the Reasons why I'm giving the place a 4 and not 5 on food.

Coming to main course - we ordered the Kebab platter and they absolutely nailed it.
Succulent , juicy, rich kebabs- so much tlavor and perfect texture. Quantity was also quite a lot. The nutty pulao complemented the kebabs amazingly well.
The veg maincourse on the other hand (Sabzi polo) wasn't as good. The flavor of tomato was too strong. So it felt a bit more like tomato rice. Id have wanted such a great place to score equally well on veg which they didn't.
Overall for nonveg the place was a delight and I would probably come back.

This is our first time at Shabestan for family gathering. At first I'm not sure which food I shall order but one of the staff was helping us to give some recommendations and it's all tasty! The lamb chop is good, the appetizer platter is great so with the meat platter, the dessert  is also good. They have toilet inside the restaurant. It's very convinience, specially for me. Overall it's great experience for us.

Excellent food, by far the best lamb chops I had in my life, given that I usually don't take mutton. Staff were all very friendly and helpful, recommending how we should order. Must tries - dip platter, grilled chicken wings, lamb chops, grilled meat platter. Restaurant also gave a surprise birthday cake cos they overheard that it was for a birthday celebration.  Great place to visit. Will definitely return to try the other items.
