There are many sub-gardens within the Botanic Gardens, but this is the jewel in the crown. Full of colour and variety. They've even created a high mountain environment in a cool house. I was first in at opening time, 8.30 am. Great time to visit before it gets busy. They have a VIP Orchid area where new hybrids have been named in honour of heads of state and international dignitaries. If you are over 60 years old, even as a foreigner, the entry price is only $3.

A truly spectacular place that pleasantly surprised me. A very large variety of plants but very well maintained and beautiful, even if I am not a connoisseur, I was surprised by the beauty of the flowers, the cleanliness and the way it is arranged. It's worth trying, plus you go all the way to the location through the botanical garden, where there is no entrance fee. I highly recommend!

This is a ‚must’ place to visit in Singapore! It was stunning! It was terribly hot when we visited with temperatures way over 30C and humidity over 85%, but what a wonderful complex of botanical and orchid gardens to visit. You can wonder around for hours admiring all the beautiful flowers and tropical plants!
