Shop is located inside Jackson centre. Not at a hawker centre. Price is $7 for normal plate of noodles.  The char siew is soft tender and tasty. The wanton is crunchy and tasty. Portion is nice and big.  Reflective of price. This is self service. Came early so less crowd, but towards the end of our meal, the crowd was building up.

I expected white noodles but it came with dark sauce actually.  The char siew is 不见天 part so it is quite tender.  Not bad.    It will be better if the sauce is made less salty.  Too salty for me. Overall not bad. The wanton in the soup is quite good too. Soup is nice as it is made with pork broth.  Portion not bad too.  Good for $7.

Chef King's Noodle House is all about char siew wanton noodles, and it came highly recommended by a friend—and wow, it did not disappoint.

I ordered the $7 noodles with an extra serving of noodles for $1 more. Let’s talk about the char siew first: it was absolutely incredible. The pork was fully marinated and glazed, dripping with just the right amount of fat, oil, and sauce. It was tender, juicy, and had this perfect mix of fats and lean meat that practically melted in my mouth. Easily some of the best char siew I’ve had.

The noodles were cooked al dente, giving them a nice springy texture that added to the whole dish. The wantons, served in a flavorful peppery soup, were generously filled with meat and shrimp. The soup itself was umami-packed and paired perfectly with the noodles.

That said, the shop’s popularity means long queues and limited seating, so definitely try to come early if you want to avoid the rush.

This is hands down some of the best wanton mee I’ve had in Singapore. Highly recommended, 11/10!

Lives up to its reputation. The char siew is juicy, charred perfectly and slice thickly, unlike others which are usually thin and dry. The wanton is chewy with the black fungus adding crunch. Noodle is cooked to the right springiness. All in all, a very satisfying bowl of traditional noodle on Boxing Day morning (when the Q is short, less than 10 min wait)

Super long queue. I came at 1.40pm, i think after 2.30pm is a better time. Waited for 45min for $7 char siew and wanton noodle. Asked for a slightly fatter char siew.

It is more of a char siew noodle masquerading as wanton noodle. Look at the amount of char siew. Only 2 wantons.

The wanton is definitely unique with notable black ear fungus and prawn. But I prefer normal wanton to this. So this is a L.

Char siew is definitely better most wanton mei char siew BUT that is a very low bar. Definite fatty hence tender but taste is more of the greasy sweet rather than the delightful sweet. Might be an average to good char siew but difficult to match those from better roost store.

Noodle is just average bite wise. Taste wise might even be below. I think the main problem is they don't wipe in the chili and i was too dumb to mix it in since I don't have the habit of mixing chili into wanton noodle as most store chili is already in with the noodle.

Definitely overpriced with this quality and doesn't help with the long queue. Might give it a last try next time and blend the chili in.
