We came for a cocktail before dinner and really enjoyed it. We each had one of the holiday drinks which were very well curated. One of the unique things their menu offers is a scale for the amount of alcohol, sweetness, and acidity in each drink, which was a really nice touch. We sat at the bar so we got to enjoy watching the bartender make drinks.

If you’re using google maps to find the location- you’ll go down a small alley to the arcade and then up to the third floor.

Interesting place with good drinks and two different rooftop views. At the bottom there is an arcade. Continue upstairs and you see the bar. You can order there or from a server further upstairs at the main rooftop level. There is limited open air seating on a balcony but its all open to the outdoors. It looks like there’s a dj there some nights as there was a set up for it. Then there is another set of stairs to continue to an even higher level with more seating. I would go back.

Great vibes in a chill, relaxing space with pub food and original cocktails served by friendly staff. Has a cozy speakeasy atmosphere thanks to its location at the end of an alley hidden atop two floors of arcade games. Kind, tourist-friendly service in English and Korean from our hostess/server 현서. Rooftop patio available when the weather is good.

Saeseoul is my new favorite spot in Seoul! Perched on a rooftop overlooking the beautiful hanok, it offers stunning views and a fantastic atmosphere. As a whisky lover, I loved their signature cocktail, Knucklehead, made with peat whisky. It was an absolute delight – rich, smoky, and perfectly balanced. If you're a whisky enthusiast, this cocktail is a must-try!!!

The ambiance is chic yet relaxed, making it a perfect spot to unwind with friends. The staff are friendly and attentive, adding to the overall great experience.

The only downside is the location – it's on the third floor of an arcade, and the entrance is a bit tricky to find. But trust me, once you're there, it's completely worth it. Make sure to visit Saeseoul while you're in Seoul; you won't regret it!
