The streets here are great for shopping, even if it’s just for having a browse. There are top end brands and a wide range of different items. A lot of the best things are even hidden away and Juno Hair salon here was an amazing experience!

A mesmerizing street filled with shops, restaurants, and street vendors. The shopping section takes up much of the Myeongdong neighborhood, with blocks of retail stores.  You are sure to find something for everyone with the sheer variety available here. One of the standout features in my opinion is the Night Market, which sets up every night on the shopping streets. The Night Market brings dozens of food vendors with a large variety of Korean street food. Many of the shops and indoor restaurants here are open until around 10pm, making this a vibrant area at night. One thing to mention is the shopping streets can get very crowded on Friday and Saturday nights, which may be overstimulating for some. But I highly recommend this location if you want to experience the awesome energy of Seoul.

I really loved this place!!! There are several shops to visit. You can find everything all about Korea. Even I really enjoyed to look around. It’s hard to find street food in Seoul, but this place has various street food. I wanted to try all of them 🥲 I have been there maybe 5 years ago or 10.. Exceptionally Clean, But Prices and Variety Could Be Better

This shopping street is impressively clean—far beyond what you usually see in similar areas. We’ve traveled through Bali, Thailand, Vietnam, Singapore, Kuala Lumpur, Dubai, and Sri Lanka, and I can confidently say that this place stands out in terms of cleanliness. It’s visibly well-maintained, and I truly appreciate the effort they’ve put into that.

However, when it comes to prices, especially for street food, things are a bit on the higher side. Personally, I didn’t mind, but for some visitors, the prices might feel a bit steep.

As for variety, it’s somewhat repetitive. You walk 100 meters and keep seeing the same items. If there’s a stall selling chicken, you’ll likely see a similar one every few steps. Same with meat and other foods. They could definitely diversify their offerings and make the experience more engaging.

That said, this is still one of the best-organized and cleanest markets I’ve seen. With a bit more variety, it could easily become a top-tier destination for both locals and tourists.

This street is always super crowded! If you're looking for beauty products, shoes, clothes, it's all here. For street food, I love the kebabs! 😂 Even though I’m in Korea, the local food doesn’t quite match my taste (I prefer Korean food in Malaysia).

As for street food prices, I think they're pretty affordable and not too pricey. Just make sure to survey a bit before buying – be a smart shopper!
