Nice place, we didn't see much of the animals I guess because of the cold weather they were under shelter. Overall was still a good experience.

A huge, beautiful park in between mountains. It is well kept, clean and easy to roam. There is a lake inside and creates a lovely view with the autumn foliage around it. The park is free but the theme garden needs tickets - 2000 won. I recommend it.

There is also cable car across the park.

The park is huge, it was a bit confusing on where to go or even start as there is a zoo but couldn’t see all the animals to be honest. Best part about the experience is the sky lift

large, well-maintained zoo in seoul! there's a sky lift that goes from the park entrance to the zoo entrance, and from the zoo entrance to the top of the zoo. if you want to take the lift throughout, it'd be better to get the pass with unlimited rides.

we rented a wheelchair for our mum who'd fractured her foot (5,000 won), and the paths were all relatively smooth and wheelchair-accessible. but the park is pretty big so walking will get tiring if you have elderly or small children with you. we spent the better part of the day here, from the morning to late afternoon.

the exhibits are a bit old, but the animals look well-cared for and there's plenty of variety. the red pandas and deer section were highlights! also highly recommend the soft-serve ice cream next to the botanical gardens — honestly delicious, one of the best i've had in korea.
