We stayed in a premium triple room with Club Lounge access. Only used the lounge once during our 4 night stay. The light bites for happy hour on the 21st floor were good but we never were able to locate where the morning tea was even though front desk staff told us it was right across the check in desk - we went on 2 separate mornings and it was empty so we felt we did not get what we paid for.

Our room was meant for 3 people (our friend cancelled last minute) so of course it was spacious for 2 people. There was a sofa and table where we ate our food and watched TV from. The bathroom was extremely clean. When our toilet clogged due to our error (they do not flush their toilet paper and prefer you to use the bidet!), they fixed it right away. Beds were firm and so comfortable to sleep in! Walk downstairs and you are immediately where the food stalls and shopping are so very convenient.

The hotel is closer to bus stops than it is the subway but it is not a far walk to either. We were able to use their coin washer/dryer for our laundry (they sell detergent and dryer sheets in the vending machine right next to the washer/dryer) and had no trouble with damp clothes not drying fully. We really liked our stay here but probably would not pay for Club Lounge access next time.

Absolutely adored the time I spent at the Royal Hotel Seoul! Everything was just spot on. Friendly staff, stunning room, and the best location. Felt so spoiled! 5 stars, easy. Would definitely go back.

Room was tiny compared to pictures online. Thought we were getting a lot bigger with nice spa bath but it was only a shower over small bathtub in cramped bathroom. Stayed in winter and there was NO AIRCONDITIONING even though the listing stated there was. They heat the entire hotel so the room was stuffy and hot. Opening the window did not help and there was a terrible squeaking noise coming from the rotating ventilator outside the room. Would not stay here again.

We had a great stay at Royal Hotel Seoul!

Uber was able to take us from the airport to the front door of the hotel, same with being picked up from the hotel and going to the airport.

The nearest subway station is a short walk away, and there are plenty of restaurants, shopping centers, ATMs, convenience stores, etc. all within the same short walking distance.

The hotel is in the middle of Myeongdong and it's easy to get around to anywhere you want to go in Seoul. It's very busy near the hotel but we enjoyed the experience of walking the busy streets.

Definitely recommend!

Great location, prime spot. But front desk mislead us when it comes to services they provided. During our check in to our room 1603 and 1609. The lady told us we have complimentary laundry service,  I even ask her several times about it to make sure, and she told us it was free of charge during our stay. therefore, we did out laundry only ended up it wasn't true. We ended up paying $210 USD 286,000won. The manager wouldn't do anything, even though it's was they fault. I would not stay here again.
