Had an amazing experience at Mukjung, from the staff, the atmosphere, the food, to even the drinks, everything was on point. The chef, Austin, made sure to explain every single dish to us, including even the side dishes, it really showed his passion for the food and the restaurant. I loved the focus on healthy, fermented dishes, it was my first time trying this type of fermented dining and it was all delicious.
We tried so many different dishes and I recommend all of them, but if I had to choose my favorites, it would be the 5-layered Pork belly, Abalone rice, and the shaved ice. The kombucha to start was also great, and I really enjoyed the Ellyeop Pyunjoo (fermented rice wine), it paired along well with all the food.
If you are in Seoul, I definitely recommend visiting Mukjung, you won't regret it.

Mukjung Team, make me better. I spent a short time there because I have another appointment but I can't forget everything there, smiling from staff, Comfy place The most important thing is the taste of the food. I love pork belly and Bingsu so much.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Mukjung, and I can't recommend it enough. The food was exceptional—thoughtfully crafted, absolutely delicious, and health-conscious. Every dish felt like it was made with great care and attention to detail.

One highlight was the kombucha, which was clearly made with time and effort; it had such a unique, refreshing taste. They also offer a great selection of alcoholic drinks, all of which were fantastic and complemented the meal perfectly.

For the quality of food and drink you get, Mukjung is a steal in Seoul’s dining scene. This place is a must-visit for anyone looking for a memorable dining experience at an incredible price point!
