This is a highly recommended must visit place if you are in Seoul. The garden looks so stunning in Autumn. It's has a magical feel when you stroll along the road at the garden. Calm and peace come to my mind instantly. Love this place.

A very under-the-radar attraction for tourists, but definitely worth a visit for tourists. For foreigners, just need to bring your passport and register on-site at the main gate before going in. The entire place is huge and you can spend half a day wandering throughout, admiring the fusion of Korean and Western architecture (and nature of course). There are incredibly scenic spots, pathways, gardens and pavilions. The interior of the main building is beautiful too.

Koreas White house equivalent blue house. With the mountain in the backdrop its a sight to see.

I had  made a reservation for this online but honestly on the day of it didnt seem busy and I could have just walked in without a booking.

Make sure to bring your passport along they will need that to verify and issue the ticket.

The staff were nice and helpful and they were directing the crowd within the buildings while they viewed the room.

My personal observation was that it was mostly older koreans who were visiting and maybe some handful of tourists in did not see a lot of tourists in there.

Once inside the building they have a water station where you have cold and hot water available for free.

Come prepared to hike its a bit of a walk.

The views are spectacular and the building is work of art.
