Excellent, though on the lower end of the numerous Bib Gourmand restaurants we visited in Seoul. The dumplings were very good but not superlative. The service also was somewhat lacking. The atmosphere and location, however, were outstanding, and importantly this is all in comparison to the Bib Gourmand mandu places were visited in Seoul, not necessarily to the average restaurant. So a good place to go if you’re in the area, but maybe not worth a trip in itself.

Food fell short on expectations of this Michelin Guide restaurant.

The dumplings, while it was full of filling, it lacked flavor and texture, as it was just mush and bland. It is probably good for the sick.

The pancake is savoury but quite soggy.

The pork belly was one of the better dishes, where you wrap it with the cabbage which gives a nice sweetness.

Really filling meal so do share with more people!

Overall the food here is overpriced for mostly vegetarian food

Great dumplings. Gotta try them. The line is totally worth it.
We order the dumpling they come in a pot and they finish cooking them at your table. The taste is outstanding.
Waiting may become an issue. We got lucky because we arrived at 2:20 pm and there was no waiting line at all.
They stop taking orders at that time and have a break from 3 to 4 pm but if you arrive at 2 20 its ok to order and eat your meal with no rush.
The price of the whole meal was around 50000  for 2.
If you are around this neighborhood gotta.try this restaurant.

Waited 30minutes in line & it was worth it as it is pretty impressive!

Lined with Michelin select stickers at the door way, Gaeseong did not disappoint! Order a vary of dishes to try - Assortment dumplings (meat, mushrooms, kimchi), Assortment pancakes (5 different flavours - all Outstandingly delicious!)

The dumplings were made per order - ensuring super freshness and it was love at every bite - I would miss the mushroom one as it was a tad bit bland, but it’s better paired with the homemade radish kimchi (AMAZINGLY DELISH).

Honorary mention - a least expected dish but their bossam was SO. DAMN. DELICIOUS. We had 2 servings and absolutely killed it. Must order!!!!

Absolutely wonderful! Me, my parents, and a friend ordered the dumpling soup, meat dumplings, and green onion and red pepper pancake (it's not spicy though). All was delicious 😋. The restaurant is small, so you should expect to wait in line (it moved quickly when we were there) unless you arrive at an odd time. I would totally come here again. 5 stars ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
