A bar for military people for many decades, and she is a widower of Korean and Vietnam War US veteran. So economical and cheap drinks compare to Koren bars...she is very energetic and passionate about her place and her job serving military people or their guest like. MUST visit in Itaewon.

What an absolutely crazy place! It is so cheap to drink here, listen to country music, and chat to the Landlady Mama Kim whilst time goes by. we visited here almost every night simply because of its charm, and of course the value for money!

Great place to get super cheap drinks and vandalise some currency. Bit of a legend among the soldiers. Awesome lady behind the bar that preps all drinks and gives no fs. Place breathes with history, some dust, and cobwebs. The street this bar is on is indeed kinda shady, but you won't get stabbed, a pinky promise.

This country bar is foreigners only, if the owner sells to Koreans they pay huge fines and get a license suspension. This place has a lot of history. It's a country bar that served military members when the Yongsan base was the largest US Army garrison. Now it is like a museum monument to... off-the-books history. This is a bar where some country music and country line dancing happens. Soldiers would come here, the last legit bar before the more tawdry clubs just up the hill. Here you can find lots of old music and military memorabilia from USO tours, autographed pictures, and graffiti. The tradition of signing a dollar and taping it up to commemorate your visit is still observed.
