One word… wow!

My friend and I came based on suggestions from a local and we were not disappointed, so much so that we came for dinner two nights in a row.

Best dishes by far:
1) cuttlefish stuffed with pork
2) prawns
3) pork belly
4) mushroom bite
5) pulled pork taco bite
6) chicken wing
7) Madeline desert was WOW
8) rice cake with soya sauce caramel also WOW
9) seafood pot rice with baked oven oysters

In my opinion all dishes above should be tried, worth coming in a big group so you can try a bit of everything or just do what we did and come twice 🙊

The service is also great, they try so hard to accommodate customers! Food also came out in perfect timing, honestly couldn’t recommend this place more.

This is going to be a rave. As a total novice to all things craft makgeolli it was so fun and insightful to get two of the tasting flights along with our truly delicious dinner. Staff introduced and poured everything in a warm and inviting way without unloading too much technical info or assuming any prior knowledge.

Food was eyeopening as well. It would be tempting to over order with this menu; everything looked thoughtfully conceived and focused on fresh and traditional ingredients. Most people ordered the pork belly and squid, but please please please do not sleep on the tofu. I was blown away by the freshness and subtle complexity of the dish.

To top it off, the interiors were beautiful and tasteful; it’s not a huge space and it was packed but the design made it feel breathable and intimate at the same time. Lovely botanical arrangements on the communal table and the lighting and spatial design make you feel cozy and at home.

Visit to Korean Bistro Mr. Ahn's Makgeolli** in Seoul was a delightful experience. The dishes are unique and thoughtfully put together, each one showcasing the depth of traditional Korean flavors with a modern twist. We had the Ssam, Jeup, Yukhwe, Hanchi Sundae, S/S ice cream and Chungha.

The staff was welcoming and took the time to introduce us to the makgeolli and Chungha wine selections, explaining the brewing process and the subtle flavors that complemented our meal.

Overall, Mr. Ahn's is a fantastic spot for anyone looking to experience Korean cuisine with a modern twist, with excellent service and drinks to match.

This place is a real gem - ticking boxes in every aspect. Not only is the selection of craft Makgeolli on offer a real treat, but the food, service and venue also blew us away. We were truly in awe and wished we came earlier in our trip. Shout out to the staff, especially to Jin who introduced us to some spectacularly good Makgeolli. We will recommend this place to all our friends and family, and hope to be back soon.

Perfect place to bring your foreign friends for unique korean fusion dining & drinking experience. This was my second time visiting and they didn’t let me down as others say. I loved mushroom appetizer, yukhwi, okdom and sou vide pork belly (took 40min). All of their korean makgoli and chungju go well with food. I just wished it was easier to make the reservation and brighter lighting for the menu. Also they have a few vegan & vegetarian options.
