Came here with my husband and girls for dinner for our anniversary. Must say the food and service was top notch. Small and quaint but a great way to watch all the chefs do their thing. If I could do it again probably wouldn’t have brought my teen daughters as they preferred street food over fine dining. However a great experience for them.

Visited Soul Dining during my recent trip to Korea. Overall, would say that the food was mediocre as far as Michelin Star dining goes. The trio of potatoes and kebab were the stars of the show and if every dish were at that level, the meal would have been worth it. Unfortunately, several of the dishes were simply fine, and a couple (like the blossom) fell flat. The dessert truffle bingsoo seemed a bit cliche given the whole overdone truffle trend but it tasted better than it sounded.

The decor was nice, and in particular I liked their ceramics. However, the service was quirky to say the least and definitely not up to a Michelin standard. Our servers were somewhat awkward and they didn’t feel comfortable presenting dishes that I presume were part of their standard menu.

Overall, I left wondering how they had won a star and likely would not recommend this to those looking to try Michelin dining in Seoul.

I celebrated an anniversary at Soul Dining and the entire experience was very memorable. The flavors had depth and the plating was artful. It was fun to observe the chefs in the open kitchen focusing and putting together these beautiful dishes. The thoughtful service (such as picking out chopsticks that matched my outfit) met my expectations of what a fine dining establishment of this caliber has to offer. My favorite dishes were ddeokgalbi, potato jeon, the oyster, and the truffle ice cream / shaved ice!

Amazing food of an art!! ✨

Thank you Chef Dae and Chef Kim for the amazing menu creation! It was so good and the experience was just fantastic. Really enjoyed that every single food brings the touch of Korea’s culture and the different meaningful stories. ❤️

Will definitely check in again on the next trip to Korea!! Love it so much!!
