Food was excellent. Scallops and Dry Aged US Striploin perfectly cooked. Service is great, speaks good english. The only thing I didn't like was that right after I said that I didn't want a dessert, they brought the bill without requesting it! Americans are just too loud... just saying🤭

I visited in the summer. The outdoor swimming pool opened, so the view was very nice. It was too late to order a dinner course, so I ordered it as a single item. My favorite menu snail dish was delicious, and lobster, lamb, and T-bone steak were perfect. The performance of choosing a steak knife was impressive.

Steakhouse at the Grand Hyatt Seoul is a 5 star experience. Amazing views with the window seats. For appetizers we had the Iberian ham and bone marrow. Both great but Iberian ham was amazing. Main course of South Korean beef ribeye cut. Seasoned well with no need for extra sauces. Fries, Mac and cheese and roasted tomatoes. Dessert platter was also excellent. The final bill was a little pricey but you pay for the quality of service and food. All were near perfection. Our waiter was a real highlight, kind and attentive.

I’m sitting here right now and I have many issues with this place. First, they bait and switched the steak I ordered to something 40,000 won more expensive. They don’t have bread you have to buy it. They don’t have water you have to buy it. The fries are served on a flat plate so they’re cold within 3 minutes. Service was painfully slow. It’s well known the F&B at this hotel has been subpar for the last 10 years but I think they’ve reached a new low. To be clear, this is a pure criticism of the management and not the staff. The staff is doing the best they can.

If you’re reading this and thinking well he just had a bad experience, if you ordered a 90,000 won steak and they said 10 minutes later, oh we’re out of that but we have the same cut for 130,000, how would you feel about it? You can get an equal or better steak almost anywhere in this town and pay less doing it.
