Heard about this little gem from a friend of mine and went to check it out as soon as I had the chance to! This cafe is located near the 台電大樓 mrt station, probably takes around a 15 minute walk to get there. One thing that stood out as I entered this shop was that it was extremely spacious for a cafe. One side of the cafe was a puzzle shop, and the other side was the cafe. Perhaps the thing that makes this place so unique is that you can spend as long as you want there working on jigsaw puzzles provided by the cafe or even the ones you brought yourself! I remember spending around 10 hours there the first time I went, as I pretty much tried to finish a 1.5k piece puzzle by myself hahah! Drinks and food there were mediocre but they do provide other services such as framing your puzzles or storing them in the cafe for you! I guess you can think of it as a puzzle hotel LOL. Service there was superb too as the workers there are extremely nice and helpful. Would definitely revisit this place again whenever I need a little peace, quiet, and puzzle therapy!

This business has one of the most innovative themes of any cafe in Taipei. I couldn't think of a better way to wind down and relax then a good cup of coffee, a slice of delicious cake, and a puzzle. "Puzzle Cafe" as we call it is a wonderful place to spend an afternoon or evening with friends or even a date, especially if your date loves puzzles! They do have afternoon tea deals so if you want to spend less I recommend going around that time. The location is near NTU and the closes MRT is MRT Taipower Building Station. The cafe is pleasantly air conditioned or heated depending on the weather and the staff is nice!

When my friend asked me for an afternoon teatime, I told her I vaguely remember passing a nice and quiet cafe on my way home last week. So, thanks to google street view, I was able to find its name and exact location :) Though I briefly read some reviews online about the cafe carrying puzzles, the puzzles weren't the reason we picked this place. What we wanted was just a nice and relaxing spot to chill. Surprisingly though, we spent almost 6 hours putting together 2 puzzles in the shop at the end :) The shop is divided into two sections: puzzle store and cafe. As long as you order a drink, you can sit here all day playing puzzles. Even if you don't play puzzles, it's a great place to study, read and write. Living in the city, we often need some peace and quiet time to ourselves. There are many cafes in Taipei but this one is definitely the one on my list to go back again.
