This restaurant gets pretty popular during prime time hours since it holds quite a collection of Michelin bib gourmand awards. The workers are quite rude and impatient with the customers, but such is the case for a lot of these busy street style restaurants. They sat us (a group of 3) at a large table and then rudely told us to move once they saw a larger group come in.

The goose meats here hold incredible flavor and is a must try. We ordered it with just meat as well as in a soup. The blood rice cakes are also popular as well.

Prices are super affordable (at least compared to American restaurants)!

Recommended by a friend, came in with little expectations and my mind was blown away. Their smoked goose is the absolute best and their mee sua in Angelica duck soup is silky, delicious, and substantial as well. Vegetables and bamboo shoots were done well too, overall a very satisfying meal and I would highly recommend anyone to come visit if you're in Taichung.

This is a small Taiwanese restaurant in a small street, not too crowded but a bit busy. The owner is very cute, you just need to show them the picture and they will bring the exact dish you want. The food is delicious, try the roast duck (hope it's roast duck haha) it's delicious with rice. I will be back!!!

Delicious smoke goose and duck. Subtle flavours, without sacrificing succulent meat
Liver was tender and not overpowering.
Highlight was noodle soup. Slight herbal flavour to help break through richness of duck/goose meat. Highly recommend this soup and restaurant.
Be aware restaurant is very small and the food is the star.
Don't expect anything but good food and    great service from a family run business.

This hole-in-the wall restaurant in an alley in central Taichung is the best!! The smoked goose is to die for. Their blood cakes are also very good. I'm also a huge fan of their sticky rice and bamboo shoots.

I am personally not crazy about their soup noodle but my mom likes it. It's brewed with Chinese medicine so if you're not into it, don't order it.

It's not a fancy place and it's family run, but the boss lady is super nice. We eat here at least 2 or 3 times a month. It's inexpensive and delicious. Oh, no English menu so be prepared for that.
