I already had a big lunch somewhere else but then I happened to pass this little snack bar and because had it recommended to me and because it was empty I decided to stop by and have a little snack. Yes. It is definitely worth it. Rice balls, gravy, egg. It sounds simple but it is really yummy. I would never be able to have such food in my home country. So this is one more of the many Restaurants in Tainan that are simply delicious. My stomach is too small to try them all.

First rice cake we had in Taiwan. We had the variant with gravy. Quite nice and prepared well. Tasted good but not my favorite Taiwanese food. Still a recommended spot!

We walked past 2 nights and saw the super long queue. Decided to give it a try this morning since it’s right at the door step of our Airbnb. The simple seared fried rice cake was good! Only realised it was 2023 Michelin Bib Gourmet selection after we came out. We ordered the original one which doesn’t come with sauce and only mince meat but it tasted so good. We also tried the soft bones pork rice, it was not too bad but could be better if the braised meat was more flavourful.
